So I’m all in with classic. Get to apply my skills devolped over last 15 years with a fresh start. My main on live (created in vanilla) has been a warlock (mcpickles). Reserved his name a couple of weeks ago but man… loving the priest.
Seriously, I love the priest. This fresh start is awesome. Anyone else spent 15 years playing a class and with classic go a different direction with no regrets?

I’m glad your enjoying priest! Welcome to a strong, steady and powerful tier 2 leveler! We have great sustain, can chain pull for days! We are a little slow on single target kill speed but overall great!
We can take on elites our level and even 1/2 higher if played correct and decently geared! We are all around great!
My only suggestion is STAY CURRENT ON YOUR WAND! 1/2 of the Mob’s health is gone d/t your wand. If you let your wand go out of date your leveling speed will too!
We do decent in WPvP as well. Assuming there isn’t Windfury gods.
Hit 19 earlier today at work. Tonight I hit Black Fathom Deeps for my wand upgrade lol. True that brother… live by the wand, die by the wand.

In PVP for most levels, PWS, SWP, and Wand… Easy Peasy.
While I have a 110 shammy on retail, I haven’t mained her in years.
Been leveling a Tauren shammy in classic, and it’s been a bunch of fun. Especially since I got flame shock and flametongue weapon.
Priest is great. I just can’t do the healer/tank thing again after having a priest and warrior back in Vanilla. I had a hunter too and still love the class today.
I mained this toon in Vanilla, although he was a dwarf priest then. I decided to run three toons now in classic since I didn’t do the alt thing back then. I am now a human warrior, dwarf priest and ne druid.
Funny enough, I played priest the last 11 years or so. Leveling a warlock in classic now and love it.
I think the fact of the matter is, if you play a different class then you have for the past few years, you get to have a fresh start, of sorts with a brand new class and/or race/faction. That’s how it is for me. I love priest but warlock is really enjoyable.
