Is there any chance that in the future we could see this? Maybe in Classic+ or on some new servers? By far the best starting zone Blizzard has ever released!

There will never be a classic + so, that solves that mystery. The soonest you’ll see it is if they release a legacy Cata server.

I don’t see Cata being legit as a rerelease. For many players that was when the game truly died. I don’t think they want to relive it. I sure don’t.

The expansion was horrible, but through all of that the Goblin starting area was the coolest place ever!
They aren’t going to do classic+. Why take a chance on failure with new content when you can just rework old content that you know people will play. TBC and WotLK are the future of classic.
One thing you can depend on blizz/activision to do is follow the money.

Not to mention the lore of WOW Universe is written. Who wants to pay to rewrite it all? You’d have to put extra years into the time line and alter current ones. Makes 0 sense financially.

It’s a possibility. Do I want it? Not really. As much as I was Pro-Goblin over Pro-Worgen before they were released.
For some weird unicorn version of WoW, I’m all for it. Would I play it? No, but good luck to those that keep fighting tooth and nail for a WoW that’s some weird Frankstein version of the Game.
This defeats the point of Classic.
Not a fan of the forced starting zones. Had it been more like the Draenei and Blood Elf starting areas, I would be more on board with it.
If we get a TBC Classic, and a WotLK Classic, then maybe a Cataclysm Classic then yes for sure you will see it in that classic.

The goblin and worgen starting zones are pretty fun, the first time through. Going through them with subsequent characters was a real chore for me back when cata launched, though. They last way too long, and there isn’t any option to get out of them without completing the entirety of their questlines.
