Which do you think best represents a Goblin? Which best brings out their Heritage Set?

Rogue. Be a sneaky sneak who plants bombs on their neighbors houses.
Edit: Also Goblins have the best stealth-run animation in the game.

Either one is fine.
Rogues will give you more focus on dishonesty and money, with a handgun to rob people with.
Hunters will give you explosives, bombs, mechanical traps, mechanical pets and big guns.
The Hunter is my preference, as it allows the collection of mechanical pets, use of firearms, and when combined with the Engineering skill, is likely as close to a Tinker class as we will achieve.

hm, a thought occurs.
What if I simply make both a Gnome and Goblin Hunter and pass them off as Tinkerers with Engineering? Mechanical pets and firearms. Probably as close as I’ll ever get to the dream.
I’d still be making a Night elf (or Worgen) Hunter and who knows what for Horde Hunter. Probably Blood elf (or stay Troll)

Hm, do you think it’d be good to have both Alchemy and Engineering on a Tinkerer (Hunter) for both Gnome and Goblin?
That really depends on if you have dedicated gathering characters or have the funds to pay for both easily. Neither is cheap if you plan on buying all the materials yourself.

Hmmmm, probably rogue. I like mine. The sneaking animation is funny.
Clown feet can’t be hidden but the bad faces (males) can, at least. Leather has good xmog options.

Rogue is worth it for the sneak alone, but there’s tons of other perks.
Using the speed burst and then the rocket jump makes for some great fun.
People coming to you to open lockboxes is a great bit of flavour. Don’t forget to extort them for the service.
Pirate mogs look great on 'em.
