Since we’re getting a model overhaul, when are we getting our goblin and worgen monks?
Draenei and Blood elves have their monks and their starting zones are both perpetually in TBC.
Every other Vanilla race has monk and their overworld is literally stuck in Cataclysm(Gnomes having a monk trainer in New Tinkertown DURING the Gnomeregan surface rebellion against Crushcog, Undead in Deathknell during the Rotbrain Insurgency, etc).
There’s even a goblin monk in the Monk class hall on the roof of the tea house as a teaser. He used to be a mage in WoD and rerolled to monk making him the first known goblin monk.
The theme of monk is to take control of one’s inner rage and negative emotions and that kind of self-therapy is perfect for the worgen.
It works for the Void Elves, of all people, who are constantly wracked with whispers from the Void itself.
So, Blizzard, respectfully, it’s about time, my friends!
“There’s even a goblin monk in the Monk class hall on the roof of the tea house as a teaser. He used to be a mage in WoD and rerolled to monk making him the first known goblin monk.”
He was a Goblin Monk in WoD, not a Mage. I’ll forgive the error though, since I support your plight wholeheartedly for Worgen & Goblin Monks.
This so much! When you start any of the “original races” then you’re dealing with the consequences brought onto Azeroth by Deathwing. No pandaren present in those zones at that time. If you create a belf or draenie then you start even further back in time.
