So far, I’ve only seen the loot bag (not the 36 slot bag, not the back transmog) one time, on my first goblin kill on the first day of the event. I’ve not seen a loot bag since. I’m seeing a lot of other players saying the same thing.
So, are we supposed to get a loot bag on the first kill each day? If so, it’s busted.
Are we supposed to get just one loot bag per event? If so, I feel bad for the people who need the mount.
Are loot bags just a random drop? If so, they seem real rare.
Anyway, might want to clarify (or fix this) as soon as you can.
I am confused on this as well. I got a bag on my first kill ever and it had the back/head transmog and 36 slot bag. Not one kill since then have I seen another bag. No mount, or other transmog–every kill since as been just gold. It feels like something is broken.
the mount and the haversack bag (36 slot) have a higher chance to drop on your FIRST goblin kill on ONE character on an account PER DAY. as for killing more than one goblin, the haversack bag and mount have their usual droprate. the other items don’t have a bonus to droprates, they’re already fixed rates.
Even if that’s true and happening (kinda think it’s not since my first kills are just gold now), the question is about the loot bag. Are we supposed to get a loot bag once a day, once per event, or just at random? If it’s supposed to be every day it’s broken. If it’s random it’s exceedingly rare.
not sure what you mean by “loot bag”. are you talking about a loot bag with random stuff in it (similar to halloween/valentine event)? then there’s no such thing. or are you referring to a loot bag with the 2 cosmetic pieces: hood and cloak? then that’s just part of the drop table and you’ll have to rely on RNG. to clarify, all the items drop from the goblin itself, there’s no “goodie bag” that’s associated with this event. kill goblin, loot corpse, get a chance at looting gold/items.
On my very first kill of the goblins when the even first started, I received a loot bag in my inventory. I assumed that was the once daily increased chance for a couple of the items they spoke of.
Fel’s loot bag had the Enmity set and the 36 slot bag in it. Mine just had the Enmity set.
So we’re trying to figure out if they changed how the extra chance works and it’s not a bag, if the bag is only for the Enmity set (though Fel’s had the 36 slot bag in it, too) or if there’s something bugged about whatever it is or was.
The bag is a separate drop from the loot bag, you can get both in one kill.
There’s the enmity set bag (head and cloak), the 36 slot bag, the mount, some transmog weapons, some random + stat charms, and a pet, all these drop separately and don’t drop in a loot bag, only the enmity set is in a bag
The blue bag you speak of you get first kill that is a guaranteed drop far as I know. the rest is random I killed it on a level 60 since it popped when i was logged in got around 52 gold and nothing else. I am not sure if sub 70’s are able to get anything have had no confirmations. the rares drop being the mount from what I saw on either wowhead or icey veins is 0.86% with the majority of the other items being the goblin back pack the banner and the pet around the low 6% chance and the other toys the Book hearthstone and the Guitar I think are around 2-3 % if I recall. But yeah the Blue bag is a 1 off since it give you the base transmogs for the event with the others being what you grind for until its over.
