I want to take a moment and say that goblin gliders are the most versatile tool in the game. I use it constantly for various things. I use it for escape, I use it tactically when I need to create a little distrance (like a few feet) in pvp. I use it to get to high places I need to get to for a pvp advantage.
I want to thank blizzard for the goblin glider. the most versatile tool in the game.

I always forget about those
Next patch notes: Goblin Gliders no longer useable in pvp zones, warmode, or while flagged for pvp.

They’re already disabled in most raids, so this wouldn’t be much of a surprise.

Now mostly for those rare moments I forget that I dismounted from my dragon.

let’s not draw attention to the glider since they’ve forgotten about it and will nerf it in typical modern blizz fashion if you don’t shut your mouth.

The fact they’re disabled in rated Eye of the Storm makes me sad.
Also, they saved me a lot in Legion. All the PvP towers. Falling off Dalaran. Bugged Warrior Class Hall teleport

May the wings of liberty never lose a feather!

Agreed, I burn one every time I visit the dark moon fair, why run down that hill when you can fly!

SOOO many deaths avoided with the eng version. lol. Wormholes can port you in a couple hundred feet in the air and unless youre druid, youre dead without something to slow your fall, lol
And before we’d get flight previously, Id sometimes climb up as high as I could get to glide to some point I couldnt get to without going around something else.
I never used them when I pvped, but its because it never dawned on me lol. Good thinking.
which for me is nearly a daily thing
I really miss these in Remix when having to make the long run up to Ordos.
Yep. And if I do it just right, I can actually glide right up to the Tauren npc that gives the cooking and fishing profession quests.

Agreed. It has to be one of the most satisfying times to use the glider in the game, esp. when you see other poor heathens going down the hill on a ground mount!
