Not belt. I use nitro boosts more often than glider. And the boost isn’t replaceable.
I’ll carry and maintain a stack of normal gliders if I must, but you can have my boosts when you pry it off my cold dead bloated waist.

The legendary cloak does not have a Use: it does have a Equip: so it is a passive thing not an on use thing so the glider tinker should be able to be applied to it. I have other cloaks with on equip: and was able to put the tinker on them.
Apparently, the on-use affect becomes available at higher tiers. It’s probably easier to forbid on-use tinkers preemptively than allow them before the native on-use affect becomes available and be forced to “do something” about the existing incompatible enchant.
It gets it at rank 5 or so i dont remember the exact rank

Oof. I don’t have on use effect on this cloak yet so I wondered why this is a thing. But I understand now and it’s actually pretty shoit.
I’ve been using goblin glider on every new cloak I’ve got, so now I will need to build parachutes and store them in my inventory taking out one slot? Really?
Jezz. this patch have made itself even worse than I thought of it today after switching back to orc from vulpera (cause of their many many garbage glitches and misdesigns).
I hate it even more. Worst patch ever.

Alright yeah WTF Blizzard? So f’n uncool. Reading this post I can see about 10 alternatives to completely taking away a profession ability that we’ve been using for years! So many things they could have done to avoid REMOVING EVEN MORE THINGS! I am extremely disappointed about this. Extremely
Just discovered this and I got the cloak and was trying to put on the enchant. Every single toon I have is an engineer for these trinkets and loot-a-rang.
Can’t wait until the next expansion for the cloak to go away. I guess a little break might not be bad either until the next expansion.

I’m here just add weight to the point at hand. Come on blizz, I, like many others here, gave up other professions on many of my toons to benefit from engineering perks, this one being one of the biggest ones.
Even my DH, who has wings, uses the cloak glider all the time, cause it’s better and it takes me farther. So this is a major let down, I’d sincerely ask that you (BLIZZ Representative, or anyone who has any say on it) to consider an alternative to a long and cared game feature, that seems to be carelessly neglected at this point.
As many have suggested, a toy, or maybe another tinker to another piece (except the belt) will do just fine.

Not to mention a Trinket off the first boss in the new raid turns it into a PARACHUTE CLOAK… /totallynotangryatall
