Goblin Druids Please

Blizzard can we please have Goblin Druids? All the current races are too weak to be viable.

Instead of bear and cat, we can have Crab and Monkey forms.

Thank you.

Absolutely not.

Neither of these are even remotely possible, rub two brain cells together. Crabs don’t use the cat rig, monkeys don’t use the bear or werebear rigs, and neither have the claws or teeth that cats and bears use to maul their prey. They would give you cats and bears in different shades of green and call it a day.

Nah crab is guardian and monkey is feral

They’d rename all of the abilities and make new animations for Goblins because Goblins deserve it tbh. They are enchanting.

Is this what I sound like when I get triggered by things? If so, I apologize.

Seems this person missed the amusement of this thread entirely.

Not to mention they’re wrong about the rigs. lol

Crab could work in aquatic form. The Monkey form could be like a bear. If it was a mechanical Monkey, with same abilities of bear, that would work. The cat form could also be anything that is fast and mechanical too. Rocket, Scooter, etc…

That could probably work too so long as it was a mechanical crab or monkey. I don’t they would redo the abilities. But, the skins. That should be doable. That could fit in with the lore and class if a goblin druid was in tune with technology as opposed to nature. In my opinion. So long is they did it right, I’m all for it.

I can’t tell what’s genuine or joking anymore on this dumpster fire of a board because too many of these types of threads are made without a hint of irony.

Yeah, I’m rather against the following:

  • Gnome Druids
  • Mechagnome Druids
  • Goblin Druids
  • Undead Druids
  • Void Elf Druids
  • Dwarf Druids
  • Dark Iron Dwarf Druids
  • Orc Druids
  • Lightforged Draenie Druids
  • Mag’Har Orc Druids

Druids I could see come a thing with the right lore -

  • Draenie
  • Pandaren - They’re pandas, nuff said.
  • Vulpera - They seem like a Loa/Wild God offshoot race, so eh.
  • Blood Elves - Though I’d argue there’d be too many, so probably not for gameplay reasons.
  • Nightborne - through the tutulage of reinvigorating their connections with nature and customs with Elune.

I’ve seen some requests about this. But they do have a technology to technically transform into forms whatever they like.

I mean look at KT Druids. Their Druidism isn’t linked to the Emerald Dream tells me that Druidism doesn’t necessarily have to have the link to it.

Also Forummoose, I know you like Goblins. But Goblin Druids sounds one of the most off putting race/class combo I’ve ever seen.

The only reason you’re saying that is because “HUEHUEHUE BEAR TURNZ INTO BEAR HUEHUEHUEHEEUHUE”

goblins kill too many trees to be druids :deciduous_tree:

I’ve heard jokes that they just need to drop to all fours and gain 400 pounds. XD

Goblins are not in-tune with nature so no. Did you see what they did the Valley of Spirits?

Would be nice not to have any race restriction when it comes to classes, WoW would kind of because like DnD in a strange way?

This is correct. And I say that as an enchantress.

Not really. They can do much, but they can’t just ‘transform into whatever they want’ - That was kind of one of the prime basis arguments made in the Mechagon story.

Kul’Tiras Druids were still trained in the ways of nature & mystical powers through the Thornspeakers - And the Thornspeakers are not so different from other druids.

They are guardians of balance, keepers of the cycle. Life is a part of nature, as is death. Most people seem to be wary of them. The Thornspeakers believe they cannot throw away their lives, for as long as the trees stand so must they.

Then why do Goblin Shamans exist?

We would need some kind of tribe of forest goblins introduced to the lore.

No /10chars

Elements is different than wildlife and the dream.
