I was asked to post this on behalf of Cashcollecta.

Now admittedly we can’t have dynamic particle hair like this in game. It would have to be some kind of poly based here, but you get the idea. We already do have afros on humans. That could work for goblins.

add warts and lumpy skin to goblins

Would love the gilgoblin colors on goblins (if we can’t have gilgoblins themselves). The red, purple and dark blue colors especially! Some more short hair styles would be appreciated. Beard options, some cuter faces for the males, some different lip colors would be nice, white eye color/grey, more hairstyles without the receding hairline/hair starting at the center of the head? Why? Facial hair options, partily beards and some moustaches/goatees. Eyebrow customization, painted hairbrows, or horned ridges on eyebrows or something.

Would love some hellgoblin customization basically some demonic goblin stuff, like hellfire eyes, fiery beards, fiery eyes, red skin, sort of like a goblin imp. Or red goblin.

Would love some lightning goblin stuff, lightning eyes, lightning infused hair, some cool elemental hair styles, crazy mad man electrical hair like Professor Junkenstein.

Gilgoblin stuff eventually too, if we aren’t going to make them an allied race, add there stuff like you did high elf fantasy stuff for void elves.

how cool is that right? Nice share.

I would rather they not mix gilgoblin options in with land goblin opinions. It would be odd to see a land goblin walking around with fins.

Ehh it’s a just name, goblin they are still goblins. We know that void elf customization is high elves. Blizzard just hasn’t made the right tags for everyone. Might as well let us identify as some of these customization options. If you let void elves identify as high elves when you hover over them, many would choose that identity tag. Same with goblins and gilgoblins. I personally wouldn’t mind and would love to mix and match stuff to personalize each of our toons.

They can come up with non-canon skins to collect much like overwatch skins too.

We’ve talked about this before, but lets go over the reasons why it wouldn’t be a good idea again:

  1. They have some different geometry that of late we’ve never seen added to such an extreme.
Gilgoblins have some unique geometry like fins, their feet are cannonically different shaped and they also have different ears. So if they were added as customization there would likely be no fins of any kind or actual effort put into new geometry.

  2. Gilgoblins go a bit beyond just reskins.

We’ve seen a few ear changes yes. A few height changes yes, but nothing to the extra of foot geometry changes or entire appendages added.

  1. The situation is more comparable to eredar/draenei.

Gilgoblin could probably be druids and land goblins would never be druids by any means but land goblins could be tinkers. Similarly. Think how rediculous it would be if they came out with eredar that can be paladins but not warlocks. It would be utter insanity. And I know you are going to mention wildhammer druids and high elf paladins. For starts. The high elves represented as customization in game represent the high elves or telgorus rift. Those high elves couldn’t be druids and wildhammer can only be druids in a book that is considered non cannon so we don’t even know if they can be druids. Plus another thing is that wildhammers are nearly identical to regular dwarves aside from a few tatoos.

  1. No they are not just a name.

Don’t forget that the actual “gilgoblins” of the unshackled don’t even think they are gilgoblins.

  1. Wildhammers, High elves would likely have about the same racials(Gilgoblins definitely would not)

And I highly doubt blizzard would add racials based on customization. May as well add them as an AR at that point.

  1. It still clashes with goblin options.

Not much to say here.

  1. I feel like if they were added as customization they would do the options very poorly and in hindsight we’d be essentially loosing custom options if they were added as customization vs an AR because then their AR would someday get new customizations.

I’m the only one who thinks goblins looked better before the face restyling that came with the Worgen?

idk what to do with goblins tbh beyond basic stuff like new hair, scars and tats. maybe kelfin options and fat gobos like gallywix

Which is why the bodytype option in the barbershop option can be used. Right now it is used for just picking gender, but it could extend to other bodytypes such as allowing humans to choose the kultiran models or the stormwind model. And this could add to them adding customization via bodytypes like a skinny model as well and enhance fantasy and personal flavor that we love. They could also mix the race/class comboes it would be a win/win.

I think so too, but I would like a system where they continue gradually adding customization and many players benefitting, also it’s annoying to have to regrind on another toon so having all that access on one toon is a major qol feature.

Personally want eredar on horde, and nuetral dranei customization for some horde eredar. We seen the antipaladins in the wod raid. A good chance for a class skin (fel paladins) if we ever get class skins. Those could also use identity tags for the associated type of magic they use.

Kelfin they call themselves but we understand each other when we say gilgoblins. I don’t think Highmountain tauren identify as such, mostly highmountain or tauren, would we add these adjectives to base races (thunderbluff tauren?)

Agree to disagree.

No. I don’t like the new faces for male goblins. What I would like are more young looking faces and races that don’t have permasmiles like the current ones do. These faces also look like they had too much plastic surgery.

This.

Kelfin would have entirely different racials, they have a very different culture, and they’d not make sense with the heritage armor or mount even.

Kelfin should be their own AR.

Thats a hill I’d die on.

Why are goblin females conventionally beautiful but the males look like gremlins? Can we get some new goblin faces that are actually handsome and make sense? Same with their hair. I doubt literally every male goblin is a balding, greasy 45-year-old

Yea. I really hate this. Female have mostly young options with one old option and males all look old with not even 1 young opinion. It sucks.

For sure male Goblins need more options.
Also…they really need to change female hands to be less giant.

I feel like Goblins should really have more singed/soot/gunpoweder stain looks to them. Like someone who took a blast to the face or perhaps doesn’t even realize they’re still kind of smoldering a bit.

That and more Goblin jewelry. I feel like Goblins should be really over the top with their accessories.

Throwing in on goblin men needing a few new faces. This is a problem with a lot of the WoW males, but it’s pretty obvious with goblins. A few younger faces would not ho amiss. Let them be vain with good reason.

Everyone should have access to monks.

Jewelry. Some gaudy jewelry would be fantastic. Makeup options independent of the face for males and females. Give me some soot for the other side of things.

Let’s do some hair with physics, maybe a moving gear or two. And in the pipe dream contingent, a goblin with a few prosthetic options would be delightful.

What IS the deal with goblins and Worgen being the only non monks? I thought it was a model issue but that was fixed in BFA.
