Goblin Cartel youtube short

His was such an obvious troll attempt that everyone just ignored it. There was zero value in his post, so why are you even giving him time on it?

Yrel subjugated an entite planet cue religious fanatism. What did Gallywix do that’s even close?

You have been around here way too long to not know Erevein. You have been around here way too long to be posting like you’re low-key jealous of Erevein…

The fact it’s practically revealed that the Cartels during the 1st War were just Steamwheedle, Bilgewater, Blackfuse and Venture Co is telling of Goblins’ sides on Faction Conflict as there were only 2 Trade Princes ruling the Goblins which means the Goblin contacting Terenas in Beyond the Dark Portal who mentioned that it was only one Trade Prince who struck a bargain with the Horde was sent by Gallywix as he was the only Trade Prince besides the Steamwheedle Trade Prince!

Seems SI7’s attack just turned the Alliance’s only ally amongst the Trade Princes to the Horde!

Where was it stated that only Goblin cartels during the First War, were the just Steamwheedle, Bilgewater, Blackfuse and Venture Co? Let alone, there being only two Trade Prince during this time?

All Krix Wiklish mentioned was that one Trade Prince had allied with the Horde, but switched gears following their defeat in the Second War. There was nothing implying that there were only two Trade Princes.

Now as to the idea of Gallywix being a potentially ally to the Alliance…

During the Second War, the Bilgewater cartel was led by Trade Prince Maldy, who was concerned that if things went south for the Horde, the Alliance of Lordaeron would turn on the goblins next. Dialogue from Captain Krazz in the Siren Isles revealed that he had ferried Horde forces during the war, suggesting that the Bilgewater did aid the Horde during the conflict.

It’s currently unknown if Krazz switched cartels at some point, Krix lied about only one Trade Prince joining the Horde, or if while Trade Prince Steamwheddle joined the Horde, Trade Prince Maldy merely agreed to a business arrangement.

All we know is that in the face of his concerns, Maldy clamped down hard on trading, making sure that Bilgewater had enough supplies and money to weather a financial siege and bend the other cartels over a spiky barrel.

Prior to Gallywix’s takeover over the Bilgewater, Maldy did arrange a weapon deal with the Alliance. However Gallywix arranged for the fleet transporting the weapons to be destroyed, depraving Maldy of his gold, and powerless to stop Gallywix’s takeover.

I kind of wonder if Krix was sent by Maldy, whose meeting with Terenas eventually evolved into the above mentioned weapon deal that Gallywix ruined.

Pretty sure the original cartel aligned with the Horde was the Steamwheedle.

Fair point.

/10chars.

Yeah, dude will turn any thread into “horde good, alliance bad,” thread. Even when asking questions about something else, from his own initial post, it will just devolve down to alliance bad, horde good.

So, the big question: Why would my character join a cartel?

That is question only you can answer.

It’s kinda why I’m debating just doing pvp for season 2 and maybe just the story. Really nothing about the Undermine(d) patch interests me

Then that is your choice. And that is what makes the game so great, the choices.

I actually left PVP this season because healing was just such a nightmare. I went to do just quests but I ran into a problem…I did all the quests XD
Might go back to PVP and just not heal.

That is my issue, I cant
Another issue I had when I switched out of only doing PVP in this game, I started reading quest text and quickly realized “Wow, my character would only ICly do maybe 10% of these things” lol.

Access to Undermine.

I just know that I’m starting with Bilgewater and once I’m maxed rep with them, then I’ll start on a different cartel.

There is always a danger of this kind of thing. No matter the story, there are people who just wont see their character being part of it. You either have to find a justification or just kind of OOC it.

If you are not at all excited by or interested in Goblins, their cartels, etc. the best generic reason is: Using them.

The main, overall goal of the patch is stopping Gallywix from helping Xal’atath. If your character would care about stopping Xal’atath you could see it as strengthening them so they can get you in a place to stop him from getting Xal’atath what she wants.

Outside of that, I don’t know what I could tell you to help you figure it out.

This is a really good way of looking at it, thank you!
