I have two possibles uses.

  1. it’s going to fire on Stormwind.

or

  1. It will be used to finish off an old god and once again rob us of long awaited kill like in legion.

Why would I want to fire a cannon at storm wind? Who need those potential gnome slaves alive for us after all!

gnomes are in ironforge and slaverly isn’t cost effective. You want the gnomes to make money so can take it from them. Slave don’t and only cost to own in the long run.

I think the cannon is more likely to explode then actually fire. Did you ever do the quests at that harbor, the goblins using short cuts any time they can and taking the money for themselves.

Sorry it has plot armor it going to be fired. and most likely destroyed after by the alliance in some warfront or quest.

the other titans is the only “lore viable” way to deal with sargeras, if we as mortals killed sarg it would one epic “f the lore” move.

At first I would’ve said “No way the Goblins are shooting a canon from one end of the world to the other.”

But then I realized it’s the Horde and they always find a way after seeing their giant tree burning catapults of doom that reaches from far away and that burned the entire gigantic tree before the Hero could get there flying, even when he went there first.

So not Stormwind, I expect the Horde to target the VIndicaar in outer space and take it down.

actually it’s not that un real and there are cannon irl that are designed to fire objects into orbit.

It is Goblin engineering afterall…everything blows up.

Apparently there’s an Alliance mission table quest to sabotage it. The joke’s on them though, when you sabotage goblin tech that just means you get it to work properly.

well the Devs says they will fire it, so it’s kind as plot armor and the mission tables have the same mission except to repair the gun so we’ll have to see who got to it last.

This is actually a common misconception many people have about goblins which is that all their stuff as the tendency to blow up. In lore it is true that they tend to love dealing with explosives and making explosive items a lot of the items, they make don’t have explosive capabilities. Some goblins are also exceptionally disciplined and can make some products that are actually very good quality.
