Go look at the AH

And watch, in real time, as the bots that were hording the materials to control the market are realizing they only have a few months until most of that stuff is worthless… Just more evidence that we were right all along.

You’re theory is that people running bots just realized that there’s a new expansion coming?

Literally happens every time. They control the market by limiting goods to drive up prices. Then the swipers have to swipe more to afford everything. Then right at the end of the game before the big changes for the expansion hit they dump those goods they had been withholding. On anniversary it is happening a couple months earlier than expected, usually about mid naxx for vanilla. That shows it’s been particularly bad this time as people have been claiming for months. They are manipulating the market to control the supply and the demand as well as the money… They are a super villain

You realize that all players with any sense are doing this as well, right? Why wouldn’t I sell my entire inventory before it is made worthless?

Why wouldn’t you sell them while prices were high? That’s because you don’t have them because bots have been holding them off the market

Thought I would need it? Didn’t care enough to but with the new expac coming I want more bag space?

Players have literally done this before the announcement of every expansion. Stop blaming “bots” because you don’t know how to farm things.

lol there wasn’t thousands of arcane crystals sitting in banks because “they might need them”. This is the most out of touch argument I have ever seen on these forums and that’s wild!

I am going to give you what should be obvious but free warning. Jewel crafting is coming. Melee switching to BS is coming. Casters going tailoring is coming. Hold your terrocone.

I’m no bot but I am definitely flooding the AH with my unwanted inventory. I knew this day would come I just didn’t know when. Now I know. All part of the master plan, my vast gold empire is already acquired.

You snooze, you lose.

Naturally they will be dumping now because they want to sell that gold to you so you can buy boosts in TBC.

Blizzard will also be selling gold to you in TBC a like $20 for 200 gold, this is way higher than the standard 3rd party risk rate.

Blizzard knows 100% they can sell you that gold too, so they will be doing so, and this is why they’re going to sell you gold to pay the boosters instead of sell “Boosts” on the game store.

They will cover themselves by saying… “we have determined boosts are antithetical to the spirit of Classic” much how they did with LFR raids in Cata and MoP and LDF for most of Wrath.

They will do so because this will make them MAXIMUM profit.

Chicken Littles gonna Chicken Little.

Man I’m sorry now that I disagreed with Glinda on this one thing:
Garmuck was more charming than your average troll. Low bar sure but still.
