I know this is nothing new but wanted to share! I have recently been having a lot of fun running mythic + keys and other content as different battle pets and animals. In order for this to work you need the Pet Mirror toy, reflecting prism and projection prism. Summon your favorite pet, use the Mirror toy then reflecting prism on a party member ( you can do this with follower dungeon NPCs ) and then finally use the projection prism on the party member that took on your pet appearance.
That’s it! you now have 30 minutes of looking like your favorite pet and going into battle. Entering combat will not break the appearance and many of the pets even have their own animations as well. Like if I turn myself into one of my battle pet cats it will swipe it’s paw for attacks even using my warrior abilities for example.
Can just use the projection prism as well to take on the appearance of different animals and creatures that are not battle pets as well. It’s great to see 5 ducks from the Noblegarden event blasting through a mythic + key a little fun side thing you can do.
Humans are animals. In fact nost of the playable “races” of Azeroth are animals as well. Now we can debate as to weather or not evolution works the same on Azeroth as it does on Earth but then if the Humans, Elves, Trolls, etc of Azeroth are not animals then it is doubtful that the pets are animals either.
This is really cool to hear! I’ll have to see if I have all the items. I know I have the pet mirror toy. Was always fun using various toys to change my appearance and use that in a dungeon or BG.
