So how many people think that teams get paid to throw against Echo? I mean ILTU beats them handily in the upper bracket and in the Grand Finals its like they have no idea how to play. AWC in EU is so bad.

I think you massively underestimate how good Echo actually is. I’m a full on NA fanboi, don’t get me wrong… But you can’t watch an Echo match and still think “nah, they suck”
Never did i say they suck. I just find it funny that a lot of teams beat them in the uppers and then face them in the finals and get wiped out the arena. took obvious to think that teams just get worse as echo always adjusts? but ok
There is absolutely no reason to rig AWC. I mean, what would be the point?
Lets look at this scenario
What if echo approached them before the game and told them they’d give them half of the pot guaranteed if they threw.
For a small time team, that’s a huge deal still, while echo gets the glory. Wouldn’t you take the guaranteed half of the pot instead of risking it all?
because the team being offered can screenshot or record Echo offering that and get them removed from the competition without having to fight them?
real question is how are these people raising families on winnings less than california minimum wage
