no. In classic you have to choose one or the other for specializations in professions. Like gnomish or goblin in engineering, weapon or armor in blacksmithing, elixir/potion/transmute for alchemy ect ect.
Goblin for wrath may be the best choice cause can’t you make the bombs /charges that can be used in winter’s grasp?
If wanting to min max for pvp dosent mattter really as can’t use in arena. While wintergrasp gob dose give slight value in are you really going to use extra gold to do slight damage to the walls. While sappers can lead to extra dmaage to cause killing blows and arnt that costly is it really worth it in bgs. Both get frag nades for free via the belt as a note.
For pve you want gob. Gnome gives no additional dps or power advantage of note. Gob is required for sappers in wrath. Which are vastly cheaper than in tbc costing less than a dps pot by a decent bit. While giving aoe dps that is quite significant over the next best option that not only costs more but dose less damage and shares the same cd.
You are able to also swap to gnome or start there make everything you want than pay 150 to swap to gob in wrath. The stuff of gnome you might be interested in such as chicken for soloing as the proc still gives 20 percent melee haste when it happens so still good but not good for raids as invalidates logs only requires gnome to craft not use. Unlike gob that is hard required to use sappers.

nothing finer than playing a hunter/rogue, group wipes - cept you for feign death or vanish, and you jumper cable your healer.
Both specs have jumpers so donno how that relates to the topic thou fun yes.
