In the upcoming alliance elections should gnomes get a half vote or a 2/3 vote?
Stormwind Election Board has already started voting early!!!

I sure hope this is just a failed attempt at humor. As someone who has played Gnomes since the beginning, we should be running the place by now, especially since our King is handling both races of Gnomes, and was key in turning the tide at the Battle of Dazar’alor
Are you sure you can reach the ballot to vote?
They should at least be running their own place!
Well, after running the Heritage armor quest, we can already see the top level is clear. I am hoping in Midnight they push the instance down, and into a new area in the lower section of the city while recovering the entire place and making it a Cross-Faction hub where we also see Goblins and Vulpera working with Gnomes and Mechas. Then the Horde could access the instance as a “Neutral” group in a Sanctuary City (like Dal or Dorn) and the place could be buzzing with tech activity, and even a Ulduar style tram that would run to Mechagon.
Are you confident that headpiece does not resemble a glow in the dark male replacement apparatus?
Gnomes make up the majority of the Alliance, they’re just commonly overlooked.
hyuk hyuk… I feel bad for Nightborne being the least liked and least played elves
We should actually get many many votes each because cookies.
From what I heard, Gnomes almost didn’t make it into the game.
Original devs did not like Gnomes, but had to make another Alliance race to balance what the Horde had.
I don’t even think there were any Gnomes in the original cinematics because of this. I suspect that’s also why they turned a dungeon into the original Gnome home, and went with the whole “homeless” story at first.
Also, this is why original devs were so resistant to Gnomish classes. The “we don’t have the animations” lie was an obvious lie, when Taurens could use the faction-swap trinket/potion and become Gnomes temporarily.
I don’t recall trolls in the original cinematic either. They were also likely an afterthought and created that need for Gnomes and balance.
There was a troll. He was riding one of the old raptors, and it was doing cool side-wind movements.
I could be remembering wrong lol, but the memory is in my noggin.
I will have to go back and watch.
If you do that, we won’t have anything to chat about lol.
That’s my excuse, at least.
lol fair enough!
So I did go back and finish watching since I was halfway through it when I got your msg. The side-winding troll moment was the Cataclysm trailer. Turns out the only races in the original cinematic were Dwarf, Nelf, Human, Forsaken, Orc, and Tauren.
Noooo. My head-canon!
lol, thank you for the fact check though.
I’m so lost.
Who says they get a vote? Gnomes aren’t people, they only exist to be punted.
