Title says it all. If Draenai can be Warlocks…theres no reason why this cant happen.

The Draenai can be Warlocks because the Eredar exists.
Gnomes and Mechagnomes cannot be druids because no such thing exists.

Well this isn’t really the reason, we see a regular draenei warlock in the pet quest. Plus there’s the Lightforged.
Anyway yeah it’s likely happening at some point, the classes with race-specific art assets are just gonna take more time.
They have stated they are looking to open more classes to more races. Again, it was vague and they haven’t said when.
Druid will probably be the last one to be opened up to all races. With all the forms that come with it.
Only if they’re transferring their consciousness into a mechanical druid form and the form has to carry the unconscious regular gnome body.
Yes, but all of their forms should be rodent-based.
Bear - Porquipine
Cat - Rat or Gerbil
Travel - Guinea Pig
Flying - Flying Squirrel
Aquatic - Beaver or Capybara

I also don’t want more combos, personally. But I’m old school and like my races actually having history and culture matter, instead of them being just meaningless skins.

I don’t think it’s far-fetched though. I know people interpreted their statement differently, but to me it really felt like “in the near future, when we can justify the resources for it”
Eh, I don’t mind seeing race-specific spins on class archetypes, but I do wish Blizz would commit to them a little more. In some cases it just makes sense that cultures would influence each other, but it’s definitely a case by case thing. Draenei rogues made a lot of sense even years and years before they were introduced, but they did a really poor job of justifying LF warlocks.

as a 20 year druid, I cannot in good faith sign a petition to bring the gnome abominations to the druids.
now dwarves? I’d sign that on every one of my alts.
I would sooner sign a petition that deletes Gnomes from the game entirely
