Gnomer is a mess… Bosses with more armor than lvl 60 raid bosses by a LONG ways means no melee damage. It also means serious threat issues for every tank other than a lock. On top of it the incoming damage is so high, especially on the last 2, that you are forced into full mitigation gear further pushing threat down. Our locks simply can’t dps. Warriors in particular have a VERY hard time tanking since we do not get free crit cap with a rune and there is no rage or globals for shield block or you won’t be tanking the boss. No dual spec means you are carrying 2 tank specced people and struggle with DPS races.
In PVP with no shield, self heal, vanish, etc warriors are really struggling. I just finished a STV. The pallies in the group were consistently turning in 50-100 stacks for my 10-20 because of every ability on every class 1 shotting or otherwise having no counterplay. Can’t even swap a shield in single every class has a way to permanently stunlock us. Spriests and rogues being the worst and most OP PVP classes.
Warriors, in particular, are in a horrible spot right now and not even close to fun to play.
It’s almost like their armor reduction in game… if you run the right group
I mean hunters don’t have a heal, mages healing is nerfed… rogues don’t have healing (vanish is not as good as you think)
You also have been given a heal seen zero people have it
Sound like a skill issue especially if your class has also have a kill stealing ability like execute
Gnomers fine as is. I suppose they could reduce armor values by a bit so the brownies feel a bit better but it is not needed. We cleared it on the first lock out with a warrior tank. Stay the course and good luck to you!
As far as PvP goes warriors are still beasts with a healer as always. Who cares about PvE meters. Bosses get downed, loot gets dropped whether you are top or 6th in dps.
We pugged last night, warrior tank had 0 plate on, had some leather dps pieces. And a rogue tank. Healers were me a paladin and a priest. Gnomer is about mechanics. Follow them, and its a decently challenged raid, last fight to me is A+ tier imo.
Also dps was 2 SP 1 mage 1 warrior 1, 1 boomkin 1 feral…
Full armor reduction on the bosses and they still have more armor than a pre-reduction patchwerk.
hunters have a pet, feign death, ranged abilities, and the strongest melee in the game. Mages are ranged, they can heal very well, they have multiple slows. They also have 1 shot specs and massive AOE with a reliable escape. Warriors have Enraged regeneration which requires a 30 or 60s cooldown, 2 globals, and 10s to give 30%. This is literally impossible in PVP.
You have to have rage to execute or even do ANYTHING but white swing with either an excessively slow swing timer or an OH that does half damage. Every other class has either a 1 shot ability or an invulnerability.
There is no healing the pvp damage lol

This is more of a you issue. Stick close to one another and all of you get the blood, when you are stealth from being bloodless still stick on them when they are about to land a kill and you still get blood. Paladins Have more initial burst but do about the same DPS as warriors in PvP, Wars also are better at finishing the enemy. Bubble is a 5 min CD so they are not using it that often to get extra blood.
Charge to get in and steal kills along with the AoE fear. Wars do well in the event when brawling near spawn. It helps to get a feral Druid in your group for WS so you become more deadly, Pally for might for even more damage but everyone dies so fast you might not get buffed.
