I think you’re mistaking gnomes for orcs. I can understand the confusion though, gnomes are known for their rippling muscles and green skin.

I so want gnome druids to be a thing. Just imagine the littlest bears, kitties and treants running around. I would die happy of cuteness overload.:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I think you’re mistaken orcs for goblins.

Goblins would consciously destroy the tree. Gnomes would unconsciously destroy it with a machine or spell because their brains were put in backwards and everything they do has the opposite effect from what’s consciously intended.
