Are gnome druids a possibility sometime in the future?

I hope not, but who knows. With a decent storyline, I guess anything is technically possible. The problem is getting a decent storyline out of Blizz.

Anything is possible. I personally can’t wait until we get gnome kitten and bear cub druids. Maybe tiny little bonsai tree gnome druids. I need these things.

I don’t think it’s very likely. Gnomes are really not a nature interested people. Their cities and culture are mechanical wonderlands. All about tech, development, magic, and occasional explosions.
You don’t see anything remotely druid related among them. And classes are decided by cultural norms or circumstances in history, not the rare few outliers who might actually do it.
I doubt it.
It’s not like Gnomes are nature attuned or even inclined.
No matter how cute it would be to have kitten-sized gnome cats running around the World.

Unless they can make SERIOUS beast forms, ya know no kittens or bear cubs or what ever other battle pet tripe (cause ha ha gnomes iz short mock dem 4 eet lawl!) then I don’t even want to personally entertain the idea.
That said while current lore does not support it ya never know what could come of it . . .
Also no “transformers mechanimal” forms . . . you’d be treading dangerously close to beast machines territory which was and always will be inferior to beast wars.

would you accept gnome druids if they were a mechanized version? with the mecha-gnomes mostly.
The Gnome Druid would cause one severe upset in the culture of Azeroth.

I can think of nothing as socially disruptive as some poor twit attempting his innocent, traditional punt upon a Feral or Guardian Druid of the Gnomic persuasion and suddenly discovering that that sudden furball ain’t going nowhere. “Aaarrrgggh!! Get it off get it off getitoff!!!” the poor confused lad(ette) will scream, as fang and claw embed themselves in shin and metatarsal, and squeeze.
Actually, it would be somewhat glorious to behold…

Yes, hopefully just as likely as Undead Druids.
They could do something really cool with Gnome Druids, but they probably won’t because Blizzard is lazy.
