They need to open up the Druid class to all races next. I want to be a gnome Druid already.

Paladin, druid, and shaman becoming available to all classes will take a bit since those classes use race specific assets. Paladins have unique charger mounts, druids have unique forms, shamans have unique totems.
Panda Druids first. Those are long overdue with celestial themed forms. But after Pandas, gnomes and vulpera for sure!

Lightforged and Dark Irons used their core race chargers for quite a while before they finally got theirs.
And the art team is smashing, they could rig these things up easily. Perhaps, they already have done so and the assets are just waiting to be used.

I’ve been arguing for mechagnome druids since BFA; give me my Beastwars god dammit!
I’d be perfectly content just using the vulpine mount and similar forms for Vulpera Druids until actual stuff is ready.
Druids had to put up with placeholder mono-forms for years.
It’s going to be a while. The art team is still working on Vulpera’s Gerbil form.
Always got to be a bunch of edgy threads asking for things like wet water fire. So ya, the walking chainsaw race should be able to be the tree class.
I’m looking forward to making a Mechagnome Druid. Let us go full on Beast Wars.

Hopefully they will get to them all. I hope there is lots of interesting forms… someone use to talk about Forsaken druid forms too and how they could be potentially pretty interesting maybe more so than Kul’Turian druid forms. I mean those forms were kinda creepy/eerie. What about all the gentle Draenei? Will they get any neat forms? I think the more looking ferocious/mean forms could go to like Orcs, Forsaken etc…was kinda mentioning how Taurens were always too derpy looking to me. They need more dangerous mythical looking beast. I get they are mostly pacifists… still… they are Horde.

I had an idea years ago for a mechanical druid machine that Gnomes/Goblins/Vulpera could pilot. I called it D.R.U.I.D. which stood for Druid-like Robotic Universal Interface Device. It would use the mechanical battle pet forms, but scaled UP for size, and it would absorb nature energy through it’s connection to the environment and replicate Druid spells and shapeshifting abilities on a mechanical level. For all intents and purposes, it would be a mechanical druid. And before anyone goes shouting about the Lore, might I remind you that we have 3rd party factions in game that have been breaking the lore for almost 15 years, and ANY Race/Class combo can be explained. Gnomes and Dwarves lived together for centuries. Makes sense a Gnome would learn how to be a Paladin from the Dwarves, or how the Draenei could channel their fallen Eredar as a Warlock <3 Food for thought.
