This may be the case that you have picked up a quest like the one that (for example) says go and meet such and such at Brill. This will phase you or other quests for the Dragon Isles or The War Within will phase you until you complete the Silithus part.
Itâs a major problem in the game right now. It stops people from skipping the MaW and getting the Quests in SW and Org from Darion to get to Oribos. I figured out the solution. Put it on here, but no acknowledgment from Blizzard like thanks for the help. Yes, I did get some help with people getting from Darion (like on Wowhead). But the hard part was getting to there. That took me a few days to work out. I lost precious time on the Celebration anniversary, getting the portal part of those quest done. Figured it out after. But since I didnât get it done or hand in the other two quests I had in my log completed whilst this was happening. I dont get credit and donât get the rest of the achievement, and canât talk to Alyx to get the bike quest.
Even with help Blizzard, cleaning up their mess and telling them what the problem is. If they actually listened. It was under âAlyx, Alyx, who the Portal is Alyxâ. Playing on the Smokie Alice song, and the trouble with portals. Which, incidently, comes back to your problem as well. Itâs not a portal problem. Itâs a phasing issue. even though I didnât mention in that post, thatâs what it comes down too. Some quests currently with this expansion, just donât like sitting on tops of each other. Go, back see what quests are in you log. Maybe the Brill Calliel I think her name is (sorry sometimes I am good with names other times I am not. Finish the Brill intro. Finish the War Within Intro in Silithus. Finish the Dragon Isle Intro. These main intros first. Then some others will appear like the water one. Sorry I am forgetting names because of my disability. Though, I have survived helping in this post to get you where you need to be. With this, you may also see Darion in SW for MaW/Oribos. If you have done it previously you will be taken to Oribos and asked if you would like to skip and follow instructions etc.
Hopefully, I havent reposted something that someone already has. They may post the Darion stuff, but not many know about the other stuff, as I said I had to firgure it out, as there was nothing about it. Also, any intro stuff you do will give you experience. It will be higher the more closer it is to the current expac it is. Hopefully, I have helped you also, in part or full. Because thatâs part of my values either seen or unseen. Happy adventuring!

Yup I agree 100%! Not only when my tickets get answered they are either just copy and pasted responses. Or if they do type something, itâs not written by someone who understands English. The grammar is all wrong and I canât understand what I am reading, or they donât understand my problem at all.
I know Iâve mentioned it already, but Iâll do it again because it still makes me laugh. But my last ticket was about a completely different game than the one I submitted it for and marked âresolvedâ. Reopened and explained that they made a mistake. Ticket was closed, marked resolved and said âThis was already answeredâ.
So it either really is AI, contrary to what shills keep trying to pretend, or the absolute most incompetent people in existence. Either one you pick, itâs not a win for the company.
CS Support tickets are just triage. It typically takes me three to four rounds (of NOT resolving the issue) before someone competent gets involved, usually at the âSeniorâ GM level. Disgraceful, but eventually if itâs fixable, it gets fixed. If not, you get referred to bug reports.

I would expect they would eventually suspend the account (and justifiably so) for GM harassment.
I remember when they contacted you in game with a Blizz icon in the whisper chat window. That icon was awesome!.
Theres very little GMs around its all automated and if you do get a msg from GM they dont fix anything and tell you to report the bug
As I said in my (longish post in trying to help you among other natives here) We, the players normally provide the solution rather than Blizzard now. In saying that, we should be paying for that, as we are actually doing their jobs now for them.
Even difficult ones they seem to have like the getting to Oribos or UC since DIs, I seemed to have done a lot of additivee work for them, that they havenât picked up on yet. And seems they donât visit here like they use to either to see those important posts either.
But, even with this, if they knew we were unofficial employees and should be drawing a wage because of this, they may think again about hiking some of their prices up.
Though in saying this Velara, I hope you found your way to UC, then Brill with the help of my post, or there in other ways.

Basically, toons who have not reached level 50 still have access to the original UC.
Toons who have reached level 50 but have not done the quest chain Return to Lordaeron, can only see Zidormi, but she offers no dialogue choices.
Once youâve done the quest chain, Zidormi offers the opportunity to regain the old UC. It works fine, except that because the outside world is phased, the UC flight path no longer connects to any other flight paths.
Talk to Zidormi again to rejoin the present, where the new UC flight path is in the courtyard of the Ruins.

I changed where the post was (or at least linked into bug reports). Hopefully, Blizz will see that it is helpful, and that that is a resolution that they have been having since the start of Dragon Isles, and I found the solution. It also cost me the whole detective achievement (last 3 Chapter 2 quests for the Anniversary Quests in doing so).
Though sometimes, you have to be a living sacrifice, in order to find solutions yourself that arent there already and to help others also later (and that developers may of been searching for, and for a while). To the amazement of others, and especially the trolls that try and contiually beat you down for doing so.
Though you never waiver, because you, in the end, want to help them too, further confusing them, and what and why they maybe doing some things. Also, why you do what you do.
OP here. This really took on a life of itâs own. I think the main thing here is that everyone is really sick of the way that blizzard/Microsoft customer service is treating people.
We are paying monthly customers and I think deserve better than template responses with links to a third party website that doesnât address the issue, and the only other option is to open a bug report that will get no response.
I think the only effective way to fix this it get it addressed is to literally hit them where it hurts and lots of people unsubscribe. Unfortunately this will never happen and they will get to treat us any way they want.
Customer service is king to me with any business. Me experience had lead me to specifically tell people I talk to about wow that they are going to get no support when they have issues and not to bother playing.
I play other video games and when I need to contact there support or customer service for something I actually get help. Itâs just a sad situation and I understand that the GMs are kneecapped by their corporate overlords.
In the end there is really little we can do. I just get really bothered that I get no support, find a solution somewhere else, and the GMs give me no solution. I didnât understand how random people can know more about their game than they do.
Sad to hear how bad its become. I think I submitted a couple of tickets a LONG time ago and they were very good at helping and fixing. Blizzard even had them in many time zones before making it US only.
Now apparently its no time zones.
