Does anybody know if the mount that drops of Mekkatorque currently on all 3 difficulties and off Jaina on LFR is going to have the same drop chance once SL hits? I don’t remember hearing if the drop chance might be nerfed but I wanted to confirm it, just in case.
There are only a few guaranteed mount drops in each expansion, for BfA one being Jaina and the other N’Zoth. Once the expansion is over they get nerfed down to the same rate as other mounts, bugger all.
The other mounts that can drop from instances and anywhere really are never higher than around 1%.
The GMOD is not one of the guaranteed mounts though 
I’d like to say each difficulty could have a chance to drop it as each one has a loot chance.
What happens come SL no idea.
Typically speaking those ~1% mounts retain the same drop rate.
What I would imagine though is that it will become disassociated with the LFR Jaina kill.
This is all correct but you didn’t answer the OP’s question. Also the G.M.O.D isn’t a 100% drop mount like the end boss mounts like Jana mount or Nzoth mount.
Yeah that makes sense. I just rechecked and it seems Abyss Worm still drops from Mistress on all 4 difficulties, though I have no idea of its exact drop chance. So I’m assuming its going to be the same for the GMOD.
Any idea what the current drop chance is for the GMOD?
I wouldn’t unless they moved it back to Mekkatorque himself. The Antoran Charhound remained in LFR.
nothing is going to change with those mounts… still 1% rather than your average 0.5% for mythic mounts.
Ah fair point indeed!
I think it’s 1 or 2% like most non-end boss mounts.

G.M.O.D is a 1% drop rate and will stay that way.
It drops from Jaina on LFR and mekkatorque in the other dificulties. They changed it because people joined the LFR for the mount and bail after the boss.

every raid mount is the same excluding 100% mythic ones that become around 1% or less the following xpac
theories say that on christmas they up the drop chances though
nothing proven other than multiple anecdotal inputs
worth sitting on your lockout and finding the time if you have it on christmas day though for that week lmao
Again not asking if its drop is 1% or higher. More asking does it have a chance to drop on each difficulty?
So can a person run it on Normal, Heroic, Mythic, and LFR Jana to get a chance at it? Or are you locked out to just one of those each week?
I think you can run all 4 and “better” your odds of getting it but like you said its a 1% regardless of what difficulty you run it on.

Well the question OP posed was is it going to have the same drop chance. So yeh, 1% is the same drop chance, that doesn’t change. And if it is like any other mount in any other expansion on any other raid that has a separate lockout than yes, you can farm the items across difficulties, why would that change?
To my knowledge it hasn’t changed. OP just asking if anybody knew if it was able to drop on each separate difficulty. Between the two of us we have nailed that down.
And even given him the 1% drop chance ish rates.
It’s not guaranteed to drop, so I’d imagine it’ll remain as a 1% personal loot drop per difficulty, independent of Mekkatorque’s proper loot table, just like the Antoran Charhound and Abyss Worm were and still are.
