I’ve checked wowhead and a couple other sites but am a little confused. I know the mount drops from Jaina and Mechatorque, got that part. But does it only drop from Jaina on normal/heroic or just LFR (which no longer exists for that raid)?
I’m sort of interested in the mount but doing the entire raid for just to get the Mechatorque is just meh lol.

According to the loot table in game it drops from Jaina in LFR only and Mech on every other difficulty.
Yep, same information I saw as well.
It used to drop from Mekkatorque in LFR, but it was changed to drop off Jaina because people would drop group back in BfA right after killing him and not getting the mount.
You can kill him in any other version aside from LFR and still have a chance to get the mount.
Normal, Heroic, Mythic, it drops from Mekkatorque.
But in LFR, it drops from Jaina only.
It’s a bit confusing, yeah. Because the drop was changed.
WoWhead probably still has that old data from when it did drop in LFR.

LFR does still exist, BTW. I’m not sure where you’d go to queue up for that wing for the Alliance but for Horde there’s an NPC in The Great Seal. Pretty sure I found out by Googling it. Can do the same thing to get an extra shot at the one off The Nine in Sanctum of Domination.
The NPC is on the right in a little nook as you come into the inn.
My friend, LFR still exists for every single legacy raid in this game, as long as it had an LFR mode to begin with. There are NPC’s you can speak with to allow you to solo queue for each wing.

Anyways, GMOD is a myth (I tried a while back and it never dropped despite a bazillion people telling me it drops super frequent - meanwhile I picked up Jania’s mount doing one run of mythic for transmog).

There’s a Tortollan in the Inn in Boralus (and one upstairs next to the Inscription Trainer in the main Temple in Zuldazar) that allows you to do LFR.

I don’t know about Jaina, but right after you down Mekka the mount immediately drops into your bags. Push loot to be specific.

For Battle for Azeroth LFR, the NPC you need is Eppu, located in The Great Seal of Dazar’alor, specifically in the Hall of Chroniclers on the second floor
