Doubtful it’ll ever come back in it’s wod iteration ever again.
It just had too much degenerate and meaningless gameplay that devolved into spamming heroic strike without thought. Especially with their wanting to lower protection apm and not increase it, it’s dead as a dodo.

Idk if it was exactly fun for a long period of time, it was mindless RSI inducing spam.
Heroic Strike was hit the most out of every single ability to an absurd amount (you can see it on logs for WoD on WCL, it’s just silly). You might have rose tinted glasses about it’s gameplay but something like that reintroduced into the current gameplay would have you crying for it’s removal due to how dull it really ends up being.
Yep, exactly. They could work on glad and make it work better, but nooo.
They just remove it.
Meanwhile, something like RoP for mages, a spell that almost everyone hated, took 10 years to be removed from the game. 10 years !

They could just rework Battle Stance , or whatever it’s called, for Prot to have similar functionality to old Glad Stance from WoD.
Would be pretty fun, imo. Oops, I mean, in case the fun police are listening, it would be very unfun indeed.
I always try and built my prot warriors with as much DPS as possible to try and mimic some sort of gladiator theme. Wish I could play it in dungeons though but it would totally bork the tank’s threat on every pull.

Glad stance was the best most fun Dps spec to ever grace this game. At least WoD Classic is around the corner. Can’t wait to play WoD.

Exactly!! There is nothing better than Sword and Board massive damage. Stacking mastery and bonus armor for Glad stance to do insane burst was super fun.
Even now I do still stack mastery on Prot when I do play for attack power. The whole reason we have a shield is to do massive damage with it.
SoD is over there, babe. Don’t get lost.
That wasn’t Glad stance. Just stop. We want the real deal and best Dps spec in history to return.
Wish we could just skip MoP Classic and go right too WoD to play.
