The special effects from the MoP phoenixes has disappeared ever since MoP Remix and the white/orange phoenix recolor were released.
Please bring back these effects. They made the birds so beautiful and unique. Blizzard has made a point of preserving the look of legacy mounts whenever possible (re: Ashes of Al’ar trails even while dragonriding). The Netherwings also retained their trails during normal flight: their special effects were not turned off to accommodate dragonriding, as the MoP phoenix’s were.
Please return these phoenixes to their former glory during normal flight.
