Bro these recipes need looked at. 5 Core Armor Kits per item is crazy. You might get 30 core leather in a single full clear of MC. That is only enough to 2 kits. So 20 people go and clear MC and you only get 2?
Even if you buy the leather with reals its still crazy. That cost is 10 reals per leather. So 30 reals per core armor kit. Thats 150 reals per Chitin armor kit.
These things are like 900 gold on the ah for 10 spell power or 20 nature damage. Only the super rich can afford these things. Please reduce the mats required to make these. 1 or 2 at the most is fine.

Both recipes are non existent and gate kept too increase drop rate so cringe for seasonal servers

saw more then half the dogs not get looted in my last MC reels run. So thanks to mats and fact you cant skin em if peeps dont loot em. Get much lesss then 30leather per MC.

I agree with you - this needed to be addressed weeks ago though. People are gonna be ticked off if they change it now after spending big $$$.
I think a good solution would be to lower the price of core leather bought from reals or to include core leather in the crates as they did with the scarabs/idols.

This is like the 3rd or 4th time a recipe has been introduced with insane material costs in a seasonal game mode. wtf is going on over there?

They probably figured it was a way to keep MC relevant and guilds would go in there together to farm leathers for peopleâs kits. In practice we know that isnât happening though.
I agree and think this would also be a solid idea. I also donât think they should stop there with just core leather. I rather like the idea, on a seasonal server, they add these mats to a vendor to simplify things a little. If they do this though they shouldnât price them to the point where we wonât use it anyway. For example purchasing essences for firelands embers. 30 embers is like 2 days worth dailies for a single essence.
Iâd probably go for 2 Corehound Kits and cut the damage in half while adding an âauxiliary statâ
Like for the Glowing, maybe 5 mp/5 (1% crit would be insane and hit really isnât an issue) or maybe 5 Stam.
For Sharpened, add in maybe 3 defense (seeing as they do use a +Defense armor kit in their construction); thatâd be 12 defense total if you got all four equip slots.
Crusader Strike Alliance is popping with MC runs. My guild runs it twice a week for bindings. Onyxia is also done a lot too mostly for her scales to make cloaks. The problem is if someone doesnât loot the mob / boss then whoever is skinning canât, further reducing the amount of materials you get. Blizzard can do better
If itâs a guild run this a player/leadership issue, but I donât necessarily disagree. Rather annoying to have to tell people to loot dogs. It happened 20 years ago all the time when people would have to micromanage others to loot mobs and it seems to have not gotten better. Not sure what the solution there is aside from making it that the hounds drop leather instead and are not skinnable.
There used to be a loot system that pugs used where geared characters were incentivized to go into older content they needed no gear from and help alts and new players get some gear.
Now itâs âLFM MC Heat 1 - need tank and heals - bindings, eye, all boeâs and mats HRâ and the runs are complete coin flip if theyâll even be able to clear the full raid.
Do these recipes even drop in ruins? I havent seen a single one drop yet. Im about to give up even trying. The droprate alone is horrendous. The material cost is even worst, i agree!!! Ill be happy to even see the recipe drop. But no we keep seeing crappy recipes drop that no one wants. Like, why does holy power enchant even drop for horde??? And why have we seen 6 of themâŚcome on!!
Reduce material costs and increase their drop rates. It took me 4 weeks to find a LW that could make me a couple kits that i should be able to make myself.
