Ahn’Qiraj, Alcaz Island, and Winterspring are about the best areas, but gl , they are rare drops.

i use to farm these endlessly for gold once xmogs became a thing, i had my most success nuking the elites on Alcaz for the breastplate and legs, get Vangaurd drops here also.
Isnt alcaz island now different with the BFA mobs dropping one shot bombs form the towers and robots there?

zidormi stands on the bridge outside theramore, and can send you back in time.
quite frankly, it’s easier to farm the gold to buy them, than it is to kill low level mobs in the hope that something may or may not drop.

I just tried this and the mobs on Alcaz Isle are still level 110, it only restored Theramore to its pre-bomb state.

hmm… on a horde or alliance character?
there are no quests out there for horde, and alliance need to be able to have the island in the correct phase to do the quest out there
I was on my belf warlock. She’s the only character I ever did the Theramore scenario with. Zidormi won’t talk to any of my other characters and only shows as a vendor with nothing for sale. 
not sure if it’s different for horde… i’ve only ever farmed there with alliance characters.
…but as i said, alliance have a lowbie quest for the area, so it may only phase back to level 60 for alliance.
hopefully someone comes along with info about whether or not horde can access the “old” version of the island.

Hmm… What doesn’t make sense is that my ally characters all see Theramore intact because they never did the scenario, but Alcaz Isle is still crawling w/ lvl 110 robots. Shouldn’t they already be in the old phase if they didn’t do the bombing scenario? I don’t get it. My warlock is the only character that sees Theramore as a crater.
maybe the cata era alcaz island can’t be accessed anymore
