Reported to who? Blizzard? So what? Nobody is getting in trouble for merc mode.
If someone initiated a vote to kick, well, you can kick anyone for any reason at all. That can’t be “abused”.
All of his posts have been to advertise this addon. Not fishy at all.
Don’t think you can. There are banlists out there that is personal and only for you to use. This one is a shared banlist with the addon developers passing judgment based on easily falsified evidence.

go back and READ the thread. this addon is making it hard for people to play it is not controlled by the company just by another player word you get reported to this PRIVATE date base that can be used against other players.
If I play merc mode and someone doesn’t like that then I can get tossed into this Private data base and the next time I am pvping I can tossed out cause someone has the addon and goes boot that one cause she does merc and mec is bad.
Anyone in this game can initiate a vote to kick for any reason, or even no reason at all. This system cannot be abused. Nobody has to play with anyone they don’t want to for any reason they deem fit. They can, in fact, remove you for that and it’s not abusing the system.
Blizzard has already stated this.

The merc mode thing is actually a separate add-on that someone was discussing yesterday. I’m sure this add-on could be used for that, but it was another add-on that was causing the problems
All these people acting like once you’re on the list, then you’re done. It’s still up to the group/group leader if they wanna keep the person with the report. And if the reason is as stupid as “didn’t change transmog”, I think you would have common sense not to boot that person from your group. All this addon does is simply inform the group about who is joining them. If you disagree with the report, then don’t remove them. It’s really that simple and I fail to see how you don’t understand that.
I wouldn’t care. I’ve probably got a few dozen just from the folks on the forum already.

Ugh your hopeless you failing to understand the ramification of this add on astounds me. You either have blinders on or just fail comprehension or you are just a bad troll.
It’s too easy to send false reports and if they get friends to report too then it does become a stain on your name. I fail to see how you don’t understand that.

The addon is but a tool, it simply makes it easier for people to do what they naturally will do as terrible wastes of a sentient conscious…
Having said this, how about we NOT give the morally challenged and underdeveloped another handy tool?
