Gleaming Incarnate Thunderstone isn’t rewarding the alternative looks for the tier gear.
Is there any plans to remedy this?
I think it broke sometime in season 2 TWW.
I’ve spoken to people that unlocked their xmog late in season 1 TWW with no trouble
You’ll want to edit your post using the pencil icon on the OP and move it on over to the Bug Report forums. CS isn’t involved in bug fixes.

You won’t hear back, or see responses in the QA forum, and the SFA’s on this forum won’t be able to assist you around this item. Unfortunately items like this tend to fall into the very low priority area, so even if they identified it as a bug, outside of a report/ticket being made nothing else will initially happen, and it could be months, or even years before it might be looked at and might never be addressed.
Unfortunately there are always more bugs then there is time to resolve them, this means some bugs which are considered low impact and don’t really impact many people, or which most people don’t seem to really care about, end up always getting passed over for something more important.
While minor issues can and do get addressed, higher visibility ones will usually be the ones addressed, so your best bet is if the post drops off, have someone bump it back, and try to get more people to comment on your thread. As if enough people (not just you on alts) bump a thread, even for extremely minor issues like this, it can raise their priority.

Make sure you’re following the steps in there. It’s possible you have them but aren’t looking for them on the right equip slot or applying it correctly.

I know they don’t appear in the set tab, but I have the regular and elite pvp sets fully unlocked. The regular shoulders didnt unlock a thunder effect version and the elite shoulders didn’t get a non-effect version.
I know it’ll probably be ages if it ever gets fixed, but drawing attention to it while DF is still a relatively recent expansion might get it fixed before it drops completely off the radar and the team has no idea what you’re even referring to.
Example:
The Tomb of Sargeras DH heroic set has bugged legs. The set is purple and the legs are inexplicably red…. Went unnoticed because the chest armor comes with a skirt, but its the only version that doesn’t match the rest of the set, so it can’t be intentional.
I’m sure it won’t get fixed in Legion Remix 
Thing is it wont get any traction her or passed along.

Upon second time using it the appearances finally unlocked 
Wasn’t expecting to see it in mail and makes me actually feel like a valued customer!
