edit: my mistake, I just always earned glad on my alts.

conqueror isnt account wide the only reasons we think it is, because when we create a toon in beta we get all exalted reputations including the 3 that gives the title

Indeed. I wish they would just stop fooling around with what was once a perfectly fine system.
I’m really starting to not care about it anymore.
BFA changes absolutely killed the luster and excitement of getting Gladiator. I’m sure newcomer Glads are still happy about getting their first title but it will forever be a meme now.
I wish they had just come up with a new system in BFA instead of butchering the existing one if they really wanted to change things.

Hero was always perma, its still not account wide. Thinking about it, i guess there’s some consistency between RBGs and Arena now.
Just not the one most people wanted.

Is gladiator going to be permanent now?
Yes. It’s in the patch notes. Patch 9.0.1
It (title) isnt transferable to characters without the title but ONLY to characters who have once obtained the Gladiator title in any given season.
On beta/PTR/yesterday when pre-patched dropped it was permanent on all characters if you earned it on at least one of your characters.
It seems that this morning they changed it so that it isn’t account wide anymore, but I logged on my character with my mounts and it still has the title. I didn’t get it last season on this character, I haven’t played it in quite awhile.
So I’m guessing that yes, it is permanent but now only on characters that earned it.
I checked another character of the same class because I was curious to see if it was class-wide but nope.

ITT: some washed glads who can’t break 2k want their old title back against an overwhelming majority of people telling them no. One of the washed glads has a hideous mog.

Eh I don’t think anyone asked for this though.
It’s more likely that some dude at Blizzard wanted to wear his old Gladiator title again and had the power to make the decision.
Also pretty funny to note that some of the people saying “no” were wearing their Gladiator title on alts that never earned it. One guy in here even has “show character specific achievements on” lmao.

If you’re talking about me, I earned that achievement on my level 26 Priest I made a week ago.
