Why are they all so damn bad?
I do this whenever I play a season for the first time, I check all sets of all classes both in Raids and in PvP, so if there’s any that actually strikes me as being amazing I might play for.
I don’t think I’ve seen any worse Gladiator color choices in my entire life. Every color is great and then BOOM the worst at 1800 Rating, go and get it lolz. Like I see the set in Normal Raid first, I’m like hmm okay not bad can be great, I look at mythic it’s amazing, I look at Aspirant it’s not bad at all and then I check Gladiator and it’s literally the worst color combination known to mankind lol
It was an issue for half the classes last season too, idk what’s the problem with Blizzard this expansion.
They purposely give the best colors to PVE especially Mythic and give a random one to PVP.
They just don’t care. I mean it’s good in a sens. Saves me time so I can play other games when I’m done getting the few ones that are not too ugly.
I’m wearing (pieces of) this set from DF, we had good colors back then. (1 Shoulder, pants, boots.)
It’s red/orange from Season 3, I think?
But yeah, I kinda agree- I’m passing on this season’s sets mostly.
I’ll get the Shaman set though, because it’s purple. That’s not a bad color.
The Hunter one, yeah not a fan lol. It’s purple and green, I think?
Even the normal raid color looks better than the 1800 PvP one.
I’d just wish they’d settle on something.
Like, cool colors from PvE, blues, greens, purples, warm colors from PvP, reds, yellows, something like that, rather than seemingly random coloration.
just wait until the next expansion so you can buy entire sets with 12 tokens. No need to waste time on ugly ones, unless you are actually using them for PvP.
I think Shadowlands had it done so well
Season 1 and 2 for Mythic Raiding they had a dark, black and red theme that is probably one of the most sought-after color combination in the game. I strongly believe it is the most liked one at least.
And for PvP they all had a white theme, and it was so badass. They could make different colors for the LFR/N/H Raiding and Artisant PvP but kept the best unique ones for Mythic and Gladiator.
I get that they want some variety between seasons in a sense but it’s simple, sets for Gladiators should be exactly the same color combination as the Gladiator mount that season, they should all be the same between classes and they should be the most badass of all, and about equal to Mythic.
There is no way someone in the Blizzard team went ahead and made the Hunter Gladiator set’s colors and went " yeah, that’s absolutely badass, I’ll ship that". Must be the same guy that shipped an awful green color for Paladins last season.
