Gladiator = impossible

I’m over 2.6 Rss, haven’t really tried to push it.
I’ve been glad S2 & S3 Sl. Got to 2.3 S4 when the bracket was dead.
Glad this season seems doomed. Got to 2.1 in 3s, but anything beyond that is virtually impossible unless you’re a flawless playing awc multi rank 1.

Do i give up on glad this season, or keep beating my head against this wall?

We still have a few months on the season, and between artificial inflation and more people gravitating over it should become easier as time goes on.

It’s kind of a weird time because everybody is waiting on the sidelines for it to be easier despite the means of making it easier is just playing it.

hot take: NO ONE is willingly gravitating towards 2v2, 3v3. NO ONE. its all about the RSS life now  :clinking_glasses:

wow i am mind blown!

a mount with a reputation of being hard to achieve, is hard to achieve? lol

I think it should be hard to get. I think S3 of SL had the right level. S2 was too easy, and probably even season 1 was too easy but I hardly played that season.
I just think this season is a bit “too” hard.

It is getting easier, just keep qing. I climbed 150 rating on one my alts on Tuesday.

Do you have dedicated partners to play against people making McDonald’s wages who play 50 hours a week? If you don’t it’s definitely not worth playing the premade bracket at all… just hit up SS and bgs, they are most likely working on solo/dou q rbgs and the more popular SS is the more rewards should be transferred into that game mode

I have a 58% win rate in 3’s yet im only 1600. I should be glad already this game is bad.

This just isn’t true at all

Grats on 2.6!

And Second, Gladiator is just where “they” want it to be, and its dirty.

They need to give glad to 2100

It’s Doable, stick to on class and keep pushing.

Keep playing, if you’re hitting a wall maybe park your toon for a lil bit. I’m trying to wait for the bottom of the 3s ladder to hit 2.4 before I push a lot more 3s. If top 1k isn’t close to 2.4 by 10.0.7 then I’ll get nervous. But with the final patch of the season coming and all the 10.1 stuff being announced we should see some more 3s activity coupled with the 20 inflation a week. Will probably be the same amount of glads as s4 SL. So worst case you peak at 2.3 again in a difficult season

these seasons were a lot closer to % rival than gladiator so i wouldn’t use them as a benchmark for consistency

not even a little true

That means nothing. Both seasons had massive inflation and gave glad away for free if you bothered to que enough.

It isn’t. It’s just not a freebie.

The fact you actually think this is the reason why you’re unable to climb past 2100.

Yeah. Your attitude towards it is bad and you’ll never actually get glad without it being inflated because you’re not willing to put in the work for it and make excuses.

It’s herd mentality. Wait until the majority of the herd starts to que on the ladder to get it moving but until then it doesn’t move because nobody wants to be the ones to do it. Feels bad and blizz really needs to figure out a system to prevent it.

Pretty much this. People get glad once or twice and think they’re glad tier forever but if your only glads are from inflation than you’re not a glad at all. Also even if it was from a legit season nobody cares unless you’re able to hit it consistently and show you belong there.

I’ve always hated the way wow players coveted their “xp” for this reason

getting 2400 playing something like ret warrior once in unchained then spending the next 3 seasons at 2k spamming “2400 xp” to get into groups or to pretext complaints about how hard 2k is right now just fries me so hard

Same. The only thing that matters is consistency. But people keep trying to link their past achievements like it means anything and often the farther back the achieves go the worse the player is and the bigger the ego.

Anytime I LFG and see someone link bc/wrath glad but only duelist at best recently I know I’m about to deal with one of the most toxic people on this game.

Knowing you suck is the biggest battle to improvement honestly. So many of these whiners would reach their goals if they just admitted they’re bad and need to improve.

Agreed 100%

It’s good to have goals and feel satisfaction for hitting certain benchmarks but as soon as you feel satisfied you stop improving
