Why is it that the mount reward for each is the exact same mount as in season 1 but with a slightly different tone of color?
Wouldn’t make people actually strive for something if let’s say the new colored dragon and elemental mounts were a reward to the other activity? Like the 9.1 KSM seasonal rewards the dragon and the 9.1 seasonal glad rewards the elemental?
I feel like it would add variety rather than all the pves on elementals and all the pvpers on dragons. meh
it’s easier and lazier for them to rely on recolors, obviously

every expansion’s gladiator mount is a model with recolours
ie armoured netherwing drakes in bc, armoured drakes in cata, armoured serpents in mop, armoured gronlings in wod, armoured stormdrakes in legion, armoured protodrakes in bfa
i like the recolour of the same model for an expansion theme

Should’ve called them out for this back in TBC when it first started. This is FAR from a Shadowlands problem.
This is the first time we’ve had more than one seasonal M+ mount for an expansion and the Gladiator mounts have literally always been reskins/recolors throughout an expansion.
I couldn’t care less about the damn mount. I do ksm for the challenge, and putting “ksm” into my alts’ join requests gets them into more pugs.
Why give new models for “free” when they can charge for it on the store or a special edition.

I pve and i have ksm? I also happen to like collecting mounts, varied mounts…
Eh i dont mind it not everyone plays every patch or can get the mount. So it lets folks have a shot throughout the expac life.
Glad mounts were always recolors within the same expansion, that’s not new. KSM having a mount at all is fairly new, i think it first began in BFA’s last season, and that was also a recolor of another random mount.
The fact they’re applying the same logic to KSM as for Gladiator is actually an improvement.
Seems this follows Blizzard’s new mantra - “minimal work, maximum profit.”
While i agree its lazy, the KSM S2 mount looks better than S1 in my opinion

What a useful reply . I dont pvp so i didnt even notice that there were different colors for diff season, goes to show how little we notice in color variants, its just same mounts.
Also i think weve established now that yes indeed this is a new thing atleast pertaining to KSM mounts and seasons
The larger issue is why we have to go pick up our “do three wq” objective, where in the two previous expansions it was automatic.
