Glad mounts are basically unobtainable for people who dont no-life pvp, stream, or pay for it.
I believe that glad mounts should be set to 2k. reach 2k, get the mount. you would see a lot more people in pvp. give sweaty try-hards some fancy title or something. but creating a mount just for a handful of people(many who dont actually have skill and just pay for it, i know of many who have paid for their glad mount) and then discontinuing it? makes no sense. with all the mounts returning, maybe its time to revisit the glad mounts, either do one of the following.
Make glad mounts purchasable with saddles, make it like 10 or even 20 saddles for a gladmount, even if its just a recolor of the gladmount model. (i have so many saddles just sitting in my bank with nothing to buy with them.)
make 2k the gladmount cutoff, like how 2k gets you the mythic+ mount.
Make a recolor of the gladmount available as part of an achievement that requires reaching 1800 in solos, 2s, 3s and rbgs.
I feel that any one of these three options would be a great way to get more people involved in pvp and give people a chance to collect a mount that had been wrongfully gate-kept.
Keep the gladmount if it really is SOOO important that people throw money at it to “earn” it. But give us a recolor, like the season 1 dragonflight gladmount, that model but give us a muted version for saddles or something, like a pale green, or yellow. Or bring old glad mounts, recolored, back in some way.
TLDR: Give us ways to actually earn glad mounts or recolor gladmounts
The glad title should be difficult to obtain. People who earn glad should get special rewards (e.g. rare mount).
If you make the glad title difficult to obtain, it would be nearly impossible to carry someone that high. People would have to pay a lot of money for pilots and they’d risk getting their accounts banned.

there is a lot of people with glad mounts, and of those people at LEAST half pay for it, i only know 2 guys who actually got glad legit, i know a heck of a lot more who paid PAID MONEY for it, like they have told me themselves. at this point, glad isnt earned, it isnt anything special, it just shows how much money you have to spend on it. it has got to the point when my rbg team sees the other team with glad mounts we know its an easy win because they paid for it.
Your failure to obtain it does not make it unobtainable.
Fascinating. You call them “sweaty try-hards” in a dismissive manner, but then go into a rant about how everyone has told you they paid for it (it’s so cool when everyone tells you the truth on the internet!). Which is it? Are they “sweaty try-hards” or did they pay for it?
But back to the “set to 2K, and give a fancy title”…to what end? Lower the requirements for a reward, then create a new reward at the original high level? So then, you’ll come back whining about how you still can’t reach top 0.5%, and earn the "fancy title?
I know your response…“I don’t care about titles”. And therein lies the whole rant. You can’t reach a reward that you personally want, so you want the game to lower the requirement so you don’t have crippling FOMO.
Wow, you actually added a third layer onto this. After calling them “sweaty try-hards”, then accused them of paying for their title…now you apparently love seeing Glad mounts because they’re easy kills? So why do you want to be associated with a group that simply bought their achievement and get farmed easily? And if your group is just getting “easy wins” against the top 0.5%, how are you not leaping over them to make the top 0.5%?
The inconsistencies are staggering. The only logical conclusion is that you are simply not Glad material, like the 99.5% of us, and you’re flipping out because someone else has something you want.
They should be exclusive mounts. I’m no glad player, however, I would feel cheated if I busted my butt pushing to try to get to that .5% and missing the mark, only later to learn that someone else paid a service to get them there, thus pushing me out of the .5%. That, however, is on Blizzard.
If you change it to the top 1% get the mount, or even the top 5% get the mount, then you’ve only worsened the problem of paid services. With a larger window, the price for the glad carry will fall, and when the price for the glad carry falls, more people will be willing to pay it.
