Give Worgen Tails (Part 2)

Battle what do you think about adding a passive +Speed to it so Worgen would get something like 1% movement speed?

Anything less than 10% feels insignificant to me and dark iron already have a conditional 4% run speed. Would need to be like 2% everywhere, or maybe 4% while outdoors which means it likely wouldn’t be active in most instanced content. Night elves already have 2% run speed everywhere but that should be cut and given to worgen if you ask me. NE has too much going for it.

nods Got you.

They could up the speed bonus too. Make it like the paladin pony, even let us use the running wild animation while active.

It stacking with other speed bonuses wouldn’t mesh well with that.

So I can already tell my worgen monk and rogue are going to zoom but can you imagine how insane that stack would be if Worgen get paladins and popped darkflight alongside the horse spell?

Agreed NE have been getting it too good for a long while now, they could stand to lose some stuff so worgen can stand to essentially catch up. Still annoys me it sounds like Blizz thinks making darkflight stack with other movement abilities counts as a racial revamp as yeah no that’s not a true revamp at all that’s them fixing the crap they caused ages ago. I mean come on they think undoing something to a racial counts as a racial revamp and giving human form pointy ears counts as giving worgen stuff… I mean come on how stupid are they going to be about this stuff? Yet through all of this they still sit on their hands about giving worgen an optional tail toggle?

They never said any of these were revamps, they said these were targeted tweaks.

Took 'em long enough to zero their damn irons.

Buffing by Kentucky windage then.
Standard blizz.

Nah, they aren’t even adjusting for elevation manually, they’re just shooting the dirt halfway to the target

Zoomies.

I like the target range references.

Mostly said Revamp as there was some annoying guy on Twitter calling it that but I can’t seem to find his post anymore. Hmm WoWhead just says buffs… honestly idk for sure but it sounded like something Blizz would of done at the time.

After seeing how nuts my dog gets during zoomies that speed boost sure to be crazy, almost need something that if we run anyone over we do trample damage and a stun but worgen and trampling doesn’t seem to make sense. Centaur yes as they’re horse people but… hmm would it make sense for worgen paladins given they’ll most likely get a horse? Whenever my dog gets Zoomies he goes out of his way to run me over no matter where I am…most annoying when he’s shoving my computer chair around the room lol. Anyways hoping worgen get optional tails sometime soon

With November 13th coming up hopefully we hear more news on warcraft content in general.

one can hope but it’ll probably be them trying to remaster Warcraft 3 again. It would be amazing if they’re giving worgen more than stuff for their human form or a darkflight change but I’m not holding my breath. It’s Blizz we’re talking of, they’ll most likely spoil elves and humans yet again but there is still hope they’ll give worgen at least an optional tail toggle

Honestly, i hope that they will redo Reforged so they will deliver what was promised back then (i will always remember this funny page: https://www.warcraft3refunded.com/)

Only by doing so they will make me have faith in Warcraft 2 Remastered if the leak is true.

As for character customizations, i wouldn’t have my hopes high: Remember that when they advertized as a major feature on the road map only four skins or hairs.
If they call that a major feature something we think as minor, you can imagine how little they think of character customizations.

I know that it take times, but instead to have a new race each expansion, i prefer to see every races having more or less the same number of options - and race specific.

There’s no way Blizzard isn’t aware of the existence of this thread, right?

Which means they actively don’t want to do it?

I don’t get it

The Dracthyr have a joke line about how a Worgen saw their tail and got sad. So they’re 100% aware that Worgen players want tails.

Danuser said it “doesn’t make sense because Worgen are werewolves and werewolves don’t have tails.” Which, like pretty much every response he ever gave, was a stupid cop-out answer that doesn’t make sense if you think about it for more than 12 seconds. Thank God that dude is gone.

One can HOPE that Blizz will change their mind in the future.

Wow, that’s gotta be the weakest argument I’ve ever heard for the non-inclusion of something in a high-fantasy RPG. I’m actually kind of impressed

Also, as I believe someone mentioned earlier, “werewolves don’t have tails” because most werewolves we’ve “seen” were in movies where until recently, creating a moving tail was an unfathomable amount of work whether in CGI or practical effects
