Give Worgen Tails (Part 2)

Why does the game artificially remove one of their fingers despite both humans and wolves being pentadactyl, or why they’re given digitigrade legs despite that not being a human characteristic? The answer: time and money. It would have taken longer and cost more to rig. That is literally it. There is no: “but muh lore…!” reason. Worgen have always had tails, Blizzard was just too lazy and greedy to add them.

Wait you’re the level 58 DK troll from Nixxiom’s videos haha

Did not add them. That is your lore.

You and me cannot make up lore.

Yes alliance should not get even an inch. They whine and cry to blizzard and blizzard keeps giving them things.

Why would a worgen have a tail.

Never has Worgen been described as having a tail.

They have give you the tail belt transmog

You are not getting a tail to look like a furry and ruin a OG class so you can role play and walk around. That is just such a high ask.

Yes the give worgen tails community.

Astro is mad cause I keep calling him that instead of Lubba… how do you pronounce that?

Lub ba? Lube a? Idk

Worgens are humanoids.

You can’t have tails. This is not some cheap furry comic book that you can just add something like this and trigger the lore enthusiasts.

More customizations in general honestly, I’m still surprised at the lack of more options for fur colors after Drakthyr were released, but yes Worgen tails would also be a nice addition.

Worgen have always had tails in all sources (I’m making this up but I’m still right). Blizzard didn’t add them because they didn’t feel it was necessary to rig the tails.

Humanoid wolf hybrids

So you just want to argue but do not want to bring any lore to support your arguments ?

i was thinking time and money… until you realize Tarren have tails and and all you have to do is copy paste animations to a rig with the tail bone armatures having the same naming conventions.

and there is also Gnolls, Vulpera, Dracthyr, Draenei, Pandaren etc. tails are not as hard or costly to do.

lore or no lore, magic exists and therefore all arguments are tossed out the window when that baseline setting makes it a trivial matter.

The lore argument is that they’re wolf people

Where does it not make sense?

I don’t really think lore matters in this regard. Just shove a tail option in there and leave it off by default. I dont even play Worgens but if people want tails give them tails, it doesnt harm anyone.

I am not the one asking for a tail.

I am here to tell you. No tails. As it is not part of world of Warcraft lore.

Yes we are asking for it to be added. What a concept. But you said its against lore. So where is it written that Worgen can’t have tails? Is it really that hard for you to point it out?

After all lore changes all the time and stuff gets added all the time so where is the harm for them to add optional tails to Worgen.

Void Elves and Highmountain Tauren weren’t part of WoW lore before they were introduced

Most new content wasn’t previously part of WoW lore

Blizzard’s developers have consistently designed Worgen without tail.

There is your answer.

Now your turn. You tell me where is it written that they can have tails ?

Not that this is an argument I would use, but since that seems important for you, there are official artworks from Blizzard that depict worgen as having tails

Wrong. Blizzard has been back and forth on Worgen having tails. Blizzard is the company who makes hearthstone… And guess what. Worgen both have and don’t have tails in Hearthstone… AKA an optional tail.

I already told you. Its not written that they can. But as Garry once said. Times Change! Lore gets added to the game all the time where things that never were are added to the game. So why can’t we get Worgen tails. After all it would be simple to add a small quest to talk to Goldrinn, get his blessing and poof the Worgen curse is altered to include a tail. Would make both sides happy. Hope you can understand. But if you can’t feel free to chat some more I can help you.

Would be weird to have us run a questline in order to justify our wolf characters to have more wolf bits. Like, we don’t have to earn our claws or ears. It comes with the whole package.

It’s not like the night elf dark eyes which are distinctly non-natural to night elves and come specifically from Elune’s rutial thing.
