Only because stupid humans chop them off. No dog breed of any sort is tailless.
Anyway we should have had tails and given people the option to chop them off their worgen characters instead of having to demand tail options for a decade!

Unless you count Wolfdogs, no. Wolves arenât dogsâŚrelated, yes, but not the same species.
More options are always a good thing, so let us have the option to have tails.

Then read the post we arenât trying to force a tail on anyone we are asking for an optional choice. Just because someone isnât posting on a Worgen donât mean they donât play the race.

Over 16,000 messages have been sent on this topic⌠Why continue debating the option of adding an optional tail to the Worgen in a game where the logic behind much of the customization is unjustified, optional, and simply cool?
Those against it often argue that in a video game, logic is important; the main goal is to enjoy playing with the character we want. If youâre against it, simply donât use it on your characters; if youâre for it, add it. Whatâs the harm in letting people have fun with the characters they like?
This option has been requested for years by many players who have been bringing up this discussion for four years.
Do you realize how long four years is?
Four years of the same request being brought up repeatedly, and Blizzard still hasnât responded. And the worst part? Players canât even rally together to support more customization options beyond five hair colors.

Thatâs just it I havenât taken any big break lately yet I tried to share a link in a thread and it told me Iâm not allowed to do that. Thus why I felt the mass report discord may be out there dragging my good name through the mud for some reason as I used to be able to share links or media but not anymore. Wonât stop me from hoping worgen get tails though butâŚdoes kinda bum me out some.
Wouldnât surprise me too much if it was, kinda rude for game developers to joke about their players suffering though.
Agreed, nobody likes being picked on or made into a joke by people, let alone if said people doing that are the ones in charge of the game

No canine is born without a tail, they donât got them because someone chopped their tail off. I never understood that practice thoughâŚwhy be so cruel to the poor dog by chopping off itâs tail and forcing it to live with the kind of agony or shame of not having it anymore?

Oh wow passed the 16k markâŚhereâs hoping Blizz will give us the option of a tail sometime in the near future, although the forced mythic dungeons thing for BullionâŚyeah nah not touching that with how toxic mythic tends to get lately.
