We’re going to have to be extra diligent in bumping this thread so it doesn’t get drowned in the crash waves of ‘whaaa this isn’t the high elves we wanted’ threads.
Give our brutish, blundering, sometimes belligerent (and always bonkers) distant canine cousins tails!
We love you too, tiny friend.
I’ve been playing a tailless Worgen for 10 years… Please sir may I have a tail…
Jokes aside now would be a great time to add this customization to Worgen. The original concept art had tails and giving them as an option would be great cause your not forcing it one way or another on the players.
Tiny?!
whips floofy tail about in anger…because I can and you can’t
after the void elf announcement, why not? seriously there is no argument anymore against basically any customization option you or anyone else wants.
Give us tails!
Wolves have tails. My Wolfie wants a tail. Please give my Wolfie a tail. My Wolfie will be very sad if he can’t have a tail. You don’t want to make Wolfie sad, do you blizz?
did you know that it is illegal to own only one guinea pig or parrot in switzerland
they are social creatures and not having another friend to play with is considered abuse
They have a similar policy with kittens in a number of stores that do pet adoption in the US, they won’t allow adopting a single kitten unless there is proof another kitten/cat is already owned
Worgen not having options to have tails isn’t sacred lore… lol.
It never made sense they didnt have them to begin with.
More options is good. It doesn’t harm anyone. Let us have tails!
Goldrinn has a tail!
Correct. Goldrinn is a wolf.
Worgen are not wolves. In fact they are half wolf by design. Therefore, they are designed to have some - but not all - lupine features.
Intentionally excluding tails since release in 2004.
Goldrinn, my boy. He’s always got my back.
It seems more like they just didn’t have the time to add them.
When they give worgen tails, you can choose to keep it switched off.
I’ll pass on the tail thanks.
Edit: I can live with the switch, you get my vote after all.
There are plenty of werewolves with no tales, in fact the majority. It is more likely that blizzard decided this was to je one of the defining features of the race, including the four fingers.
Worgen inherited their form from Goldrinn.
I don’t think so, though neither of us have statements to back up our opinions. I will say that the worgen ended up looking garbage because they had very little time to make them, were released unfinished, and worgen had tails in their concept art. Genn also has a tail in Before the Storm and in that new WoW board game.
And Elune. The Goldrinn form is the Pack Form. The Worgen form, however, was from Goldrinn and Elune, and is designed to he half wolf.
You can certainly say that.
For one Genn has always been depicted and described with no tail, the Before the Storm quote was corrected on twitter specifically stating “worgen do not have tails”. She messes up as well in the book with worgen shapeshifting claiming it happens instantly in a plume of smoke, when in fact it occurs gradually with pops and cracks, depicted in Wolfheart and Curse of the Worgen. Worgen were not her goal of the book, so I cannot blame her for her mistakes.
The board game is news to me though! It does look interesting. Is it canon material to the world of warcraft lore?
