Give Worgen Tails (Part 1)

I can sometimes get a bit heated Caelus. I apologize again. :frowning:

Pretty much my sentiments in this thread, if you disagree and think Worgen should not have tails you get personally attacked and told to leave.

Consider this, then. The race you are playing…Azeroth humans…are evolved/devolved from the Titan-forged Iron Vrykul in Northrend, and are not the same as Earth humans. Yet, thanks to popular demand, Blizzard is introducing racial features such as skin and hair tones that are based entirely on real-world humans.

If changes unsupported by lore such as these can be implemented to make players happy, then so can something as simple as a cosmetic tail option. The game developers are messing with the ‘unique’ features of pretty much every established race in the coming expansion…so isn’t it kind of pointless to insist that such a relatively minor aspect of the worgen remain static?

That is not true at all. You came to the thread saying anyone asking for tails is trying to push a furry agenda. That is why you were told to get lost and reported for your comments. Worgen players simply want the option of having a tail or not having a tail. This is no different than Night Elf Mages, Dark Skin Blood Elves, and so on. Changes to lore happen.

Hey hey now, you and I had an actual discussion about this. While I cannot account for others, still. People are very much entitled to their own opinions, even if it’s against tails.

There was a certain person I got heated with because of multiple reasons including not acknowledging the points given to them when their logic has been debunked tenfold, derailing the topic numerous times, and even eluding they have other people watching/inciting a mass report. Was generally met with a condescending attitude and when you can’t speak logic to someone because they are dead set on their ways, yeah, I don’t want them a part of the conversation.

As I said, I can’t speak for other people in this thread sadly. Another thing too, once “furry hate” comes in, pretty much the gloves come off and that person is generally deemed ignorant (normally they are, as are most people when it comes to furries because hating on them is “cool” right now.) So when that happens, people will immediately disregard what they have to say and you can’t really blame them for that.

Though if someone showed a willingness to discuss, like you and I for example, you can see the results are much better. A lot of people also have a habit of misconstruing emotion through text and can be easily taken the wrong way.

flails need to be added as a weapon

you were correct, idk what the other guys prob is but youve been correct about everything

After playing Trials of Mana to death I’m kind of on the side of Worgen having tails. And Monks. or a new Brawler class that is also a fist fighter.

While I understand the reasoning for no worgen monks or paladins, I’d still love to see them personally!

But yes, GIVE US TAIL OPTIONS!

Tail options are nice, let the worgen have tail options.

Allow me to give you a better comparison.

Worgen want tail options. Elf players wanted ear style sl ears wont always stick out of the helm.

Elfs are getting ear styles.

Worgen want tails because they feel silly when they are running around. Worgen want the option of tails.

So the people that play them deserve the choice to have tails or not.

Actually there isn’t any good reasoning for all races to not be able to be a paladin or even a monk now with worgen learning more control over the curse.

Which of course comes down to the lore of the classes.

Monks find inner peace and transcend themselves. You can’t exactly find that inner peace within you as you have a curse that makes you into a literal monster with an insatiable sense of rage. Even the druids who became the first worgen could not control the rage and often lost themselves to the forbidden pack form. That sense of rage transcended into the curse itself. The rituals we received were to restore the humanity but that rage will always linger within a cursed being thus never being able to find true peace and harmony as a monk would.

As for paladins, they are imbued of the Holy Light and immune to curses (from my understanding). Worgenism is a curse. Priests can call upon the Light and worgen priests fall into this category. Paladins however are imbued with it.

Hey Wolfie, was that to me? Just curious. Though I’m not thinking so?

So allow me to correct you slightly. But I don’t want us to go off topic to much.

In game lore there are anti paladins or evil paladins. We have learned that paladins dont have to only use the light to be a paladin.

Its gameplay over lore. Void elf priest are a good example. In gameplay aspects they use the light to heal etc. In lore they would use the void aka shadowmend style healing.

Worgen could be monks in gameplay but be more bordering feral like worgen as opposed to a real monk.

When it comes to the void elf holy priest. I would imagine them like Sir Zeilek (sp?) from Naxxramas. His faith was so strong in the Light that it transcended when he became one of the horsemen in undeath. I feel this would be the same case as void elves should their faith be that strong still with the Light. Of course, conjuring the Light would cause them great harm or suffer some major drawbacks. That’s how I’d decipher that as far as story/lore.

I am also an advocate for Nelf pallies… I know paladins don’t necessarily need to use the Light to be a paladin, it’s any faith really. They are plated fighters of their religion, imbued with the greater powers (like the Loa for Zandalari). Night warriors should have opened up nelf pallies too imo so that to me was a missed opportunity. IMO the different races of paladins that aren’t Holy Light users (Like the Zandalari and Nelves if they unlock it) different aesthetics for their spells. For example, Night elves could be silvery themed spells with moon aesthetics. Same goes for priests. I feel that you lose race identity in those 2 classes.

However, the PC worgen we play are Gilnean and their faith is of the Holy Light. I would still love to see worgen paladins and monks, don’t get me wrong, but Blizz is sticking to their guns on this one.

Worgen paladin WITH A TAIL HOWEVER drool

Hey Worgen Tail Thread! Dunno how active I’ll be from here on, 'cause PSO2 is launching and it’s gonna steal me away, but know you still have my support! Not gonna be dramatic about it, so I’m just gonna leave this here:

Give Worgen Tails!

So, Sir Zeilek is an undead, He wasn’t infused with the void that is the key difference with him and void elfs. Void and Light don’t mix bad things happen when they do.

The Gilnean can change the faith and have a strong connection to Goldrinn, or even just the city.

Basically to wield that power you just have to have some strong faith in something. That is how Anti Paladin’s exist
