YES. PLEASE.
That would be so awesome. No tails make the seem a bit odd. Sometimes Blizzard takes artistic liberties that don’t make much sense with the original beings their tryingto emulate. (werewolves, minotaurs, etc.)

The only person making the game look bad is you with your narrow, simpleminded viewpoint on mythological races that have been around since before you were even born. Not surprising coming from someone playing a human with pointy ears, though.
They are just trying to take a classic concept and make it their own, sometimes it works sometimes it dosen’t.
I personally think Worgen look much better without tails. And I think Tauren would look better if they wern’t fully covered in fur, giving a more human looking torso.
I mean sure would love a tail…but it is blizzard they probably won’t ever do it because all their previous artwork. I want options to make my worgen look older too would fit the mage well. https://i.imgur.com/zHyzGG6.jpg
What are you talking about the original concept art for Worgen females have tails. Even some of the old art had tails pop up from time to time. Also weeeee post 1000!
ah damn i forgot to when i was able to report again
also theres countless blizzard properties where they have tails like the boardgame
“Give 'em Tails!” Shouts Tony Hawk as he drives by Blizzard HQ. Hey, the Birdman spoke.
Give Worgen Tails.
“generic werewolves don’t have tails” = this is because retro Hollywood special effect limitations.
Werewolves have showed up in mythologies from around the world, and they almost always have tails. Worgen should have a tail option.
That’s… not true?
Russian and Swedish werewolves don’t have tails at all and it’s considered a hallmark. In European folklore they’re more often categorized as not having a tail because that’s considered a marker of witches/magic in wolf form.
At best we could maybe say it’s 50/50 across the world, without just sitting down and counting. There’s more than enough examples of tail-less werewolves.
Worgen are worgen, not werewolves.
They are based on werewolves sure but Worgen are its own thing unique to the Warcraft universe.
Even if they were directly associated with werewolves, some have tails, some do not.
running wild needs a better animation, it’s too goofy
Who are you and what did you do with Fluffybuns… We agree on something… Guess 2020 is the end of the world.
my posts are an enigma
it can be anything at any moment
There’s more with than without. Swedish doesn’t even have werewolf lore and Russia a little at best. Majority of werewolf lore originates in Europe. It’s definitely not 50/50
give worgen flails
I want to just step to the side here and make a note of something:
Firstly this is intentionally insulting and you know it. I had no ill will in this conversation except to point out that werewolves are not entirely with tails in folklore, not even by a “wide majority.” I don’t feel this is fair play and it seems more like you’d rather attack me to undermine my argument than actually let my argument stand on it’s own feet.
Secondly I was standing right there in the alpha and beta arguing entirely against the horrible result that was the female worgen. Correlating a lack of interest with something you want with an interest in something you hated is false. I don’t think worgen should have tails, that doesn’t mean I thought female worgen should have looked as they did.
Stepping back in here:
I suggest you look up the Varulv, the swedish half-man half-wolf. They very much have the concept, and it’s entirely false to suggest they don’t. Russia also has it, and it doesn’t matter if it’s a little or not, it’s about whether or not it exists at all.
Finally:
I’m out. You want to resort to rudeness, you do you. It doesn’t make you right, just a jerk.
I’m not sure why you took that as an attack. I was pointing out the issues with that arguement.
Now to be fair I did look up, and checks out it is still dirived of German werewolf lore. The term is even spun from the german term warwulf. The concept is similar and that spin-off seems to exclude tails.
That still doesn’t make it 50/50 as you claimed. Anyway, you take care and have a good day.
Now I did remove the post that did come off as a bit more aggressive and will apologize for that much at the very least.
I love the conflict resolution going on in here! I’m glad we’re trying to keep it civil so this thread stays up
no, this is a blood sport
i want to see gladiatorial combat
