Just looted my first Ulve tail trophy from Valheim then suddenly remembered this thread and that my and other Worgen still donât have tails. Felt bad.

Give worgen this expansion off.
Change all worgen back to human. Druids change to Kul Tiran.
Worgen can try again in 11.0.

I donât think spikes will do much to deter fleas
I imagen Azeroth fleas are quite large and ferocious.
Many seem to equate the Worgen with Gilneas but you need to look further back. Worgen lore, as I understand it, originated from Night Elf druids experimenting with their druidic powers and embracing their wolf âpack formâ (as opposed to bear or cat).
They called themselves the " Druids of the Scythe", followers of the wolf God, Goldrinn:
But this pack form caused them to become savage, to lose themselves in the animal form and it wasnât until the curse ran rampant in Gilneas that we found that drinking from the three pools in Talâdoren (the Well of Fury, the Well of Tranquility, and the Well of Balance) allowed us to finally gain control again over our animal selves and our âtwo formsâ.
All that being said, adding a druidic style quest line that gives us a closer understanding of this origin, perhaps one involving Goldrinn, would be an amazing way to unlock additional optional appearance options, not just for a tail but for many of the other options Worgen have been pleading for over the years.

But they definitely need tails themselves. If you ever watch them ârunning wildâ they look more like gorillas than wolves
