Those are skin walkers for the most part there are both examples in history of tailed werewolves and non tailed werewolves. But hereās the best part of this thread we are asking for it to be optional. You know a choice to what kind of look you want. Itās also called customization and itās great cause it allows someone to choose what they would like. Seeing the customization put into Dracthyr we know Blizzard can do it if they set thier minds to it.

you know, if worgen walked on heels like normal humans, a lack of tail wouldnāt seem -as- out of place. but the fact they do walk on their toes, āreverse-kneeā and hunch forward, and lean heavily forward when runningā¦ seems so off balance, a tail actually helps with that balance. Not just visually, but also in real life nature!

What amazing mods!
I find it incredible that private individuals can add so much flavor to a race with no expectation of compensation while for over a decade a billion dollar company cant be bothered to refresh their own content when the desire for it from their paying player base is so high.
I hope they finally realized this and that the Dracthyr setup was just a way to get the penny pinchers to fund development of what can be a near copy paste shapeshifter customization system for Worgen.

I always felt like cataclysm in particular completely ret conned the worgen lore entirely. They were just so much cooler, conceptually to me, before the cataclysm expansion.
I dunno. I just felt like something was missing for the worgens from cataclysm onwards. As well as one of my favorite instances in the game being revamped entirely, instead of them keeping the old one and the old overworld to. Then, they never brought it back in shadowlands chromie time. Still perplexes me to this day since shadowlands launch. Still perplexed why they removed all that content in the first place.
