There is no lore against worgens having tails Fluffy. This has been proven repeatedly in this thread alone.

The original Worgen were old as hell models and lets be honest crap. The original Worgen female concept art had tails, but Blizzard ran out of time and tossed out a 2 week job on the model after a rework into a terrible model that we were stuck with for 10 years. This is a chance to get Worgen back to the original concept look and give it as an option to those who want it and those who are in love with the no tail look can also use that.

if concept pre release had em, and they took them out, and in the years they had to remodel and add them they didn’t, that’s proof enough they didn’t want to add them

Besides that there is no ‘lore’ to the lack of tails anywhere, except that the player model doesn’t currently have one.
There is no in-game book, quest, out of game book, or anything that states explicitly that they cannot have tails, the only ‘lore’ is the current model doesn’t.
Which can be for a wide range of reasons, including the most likely based on what happened during the alpha, lack of the technical ability and the work involved to deal with one, which has now been done.
And has been stated multiple times about the difference between a skin update and customizations that is what Shadowlands is bringing.

not the specific remodel back in 8.25 or whatever, i mean throughout the years from cataclysm to now as a whole. they didn’t add them then to finish the model since it was unfinished, they aren’t gonna add them now
Your source is flawed as it has no actual basis. Just because they didn’t have tails in game doesn’t mean they weren’t meant to. It’s call other issues preventing it.
Those issues have been resolved, so there’s really no reason now.

What part of we had nothing done for 10 years to the model do you not understand? The model looked terrible for 10 years. You trying to argue that its proof that Blizzard didnt want to add em is mute as if they didnt touch the model for 10 years we had no chance of change at all.

They didn’t change the models at all because they weren’t relevant anymore. Are you just pretending to be ignorant? They hated the model the entire time.

Sure, same as the skin update that was promised in mists or warlords at first, would have happened when it was promised, and not how many expansions later that it actually was?
When Fluffybuns when would they have added it? The only change Worgen have gotten in years was the update to the head models. That is not customization. Seriously if your one of these I don’t want Furries in my game, your about 15 years too late buddy.

Saying “they didn’t change the model for years therefore they must have liked it” is factually wrong. They hated the worgen female model for 8 years and knew it was not what they wanted that entire time. But it remained the same, despite wanting to update it. Going by that logic, tails can fall under a part of the model they wished they could have had the time to add.
And here we go parroting yet again.
