I do not think they give them Tails, because they should modify all the pants to achieve this.

nah they wouldn’t it would just be like all the other tails in the game where it is basically just attached. like they didn’t modify all the pants in the game when vulpera were added even though it was a new tail on a skeleton

Can we have the tail jewelry too? we currently don’t have any on Worgen forms so tails would be a good starting point.

Other request threads were up for years before they were incorporated into the game.
May as well mute the thread now if you aren’t for it, you’re going to be seeing the request for awhile.

The best chances for more options will be with new player races for the Horde, the Saberon. They will use the Worgen model first and foremost to customize it.

Anyway back o the subject at hand this very alive and updated almost daily post where we the active Worgen players are discussing the options of a tail and how it could be added to the game. As for those talking about the modifying the model they don’t have to tails in wow are on top of the model texture so they just kind of are attached without any indication that they pop out of your armor. Worgen already have the modeled bones for a tail all that needs to be done is attaching said tail and applying a texture.

The other thing I would love to see is a lore correct size so our characters stand out as they should and the darn Tauren sized shoulders we have would finally make since. Female Tauren are 8 feet tall just like how female Worgen should be. Yes in lore female Tauren are larger than that but at the lore correct size Tauren no longer fit in buildings. And while I feel for Tauren not being able to be the lore correct size breaking up the Alliance tall models would be nice and lore correct.

P.S.S. Aco if your crying about someone with 400+posts in the thread feel free to hate me as I currently hold far more posts than that in this thread. I’ll let you figure out how that’s possible but know this 400 is rookie numbers.

As Ravendew mentioned, they wouldn’t have to modify anything.
Just looking at some of the fan made tailed worgens, it’s as simple as plopping the tail in to place, put in a couple of already available tail animations, and it would fit perfectly fine. Even worgen cloaks are already lifted up and flap around way more than any other races cloak when they run around compared to other races. It’s like the worgen animations were made with tails in mind!

With Blizzard making several adjustments for 9.1.5, it remains to be hoped that worgen will also be finally, remembered by the developers and that at some point we will be attended to as well.

Also, in 9.0 beta the female worgen model (which already has rigging for a tail animation set) had a hole in the geometry for a while.

A tail would be treated in the same way as tauren horns and elf ears or tauren and draenei tails.
Nothing special has been done to allow these racial details to be visible.

The same thing would include a worgen’s tail.

Yes. That’s why Worgen needs to be pushed so the other side can get their tigers as well. They will likely use the Worgen-model for this race and the better the Worgen are being done the better it is for us all.
