Give worgens tails
Perhaps someone can help - as a Worgen I have a tail, but it appears to be hidden. Where is the checkbox in character customization to unhide my tail?
#GiveWorgenTails
Blizzard could do that.
Customizations are an easy and inexpensive way to give players something that would please them, since balance and faction problems are something that Blizzard never does in order to make everyone happy.
The community as a whole wants more customization for their favorite races.
A tail would be a good start for bigger and better customizations for worgen, which better reflect the nature of werewolf that the race seeks to emulate.
Bestial demi-human beings, as in any RPG.
Alright, Iâll put in my support, too. Give Worgen tails!
Additionally, if they do get tails, I wouldnât mind a /wag animation where the tail waves back and forth excitedly. Itâd be neat if it automatically did that when you leveled up or completed a quest, too.
That would be neat. But also fun detected so it would get nerfed.
Certainly. The same treatment that they give to Dobermans.
Yes. Alias, I loved this image of this wolf. What a magnificent creature.
Thank you very much. This is really very kind of you!
HAHAHA.
I loved your name.
Worgen arenât wolves.
Not all werewolves have tails.
Just because some of the werewolf/werewolf inspired customization in other Blizzard games have tails doesnât mean it will, can, or should happen with Worgen in World of Warcraft.
Thatâs why we requested it⌠As an option.
Actually worgens originated off of their pact form, which was indeed a druid wolf form. So they are definitely wolves.
At least with Worgens, we do have a basis on how they can get a tail, and it all goes back to the original pact form which did indeed have a tail. For me, a HUGE win would be getting tails via a quest line. Itâll involve connecting even deeper in to the worgen origin, which results on getting a way better control of the worgen form, which includes getting a tail, being a hybrid shifted form of the worgen/human form, and being able to fight in human form, as well as druids having access to the wolf form, without the drawbacks of it.
Just an idea that would really spice up the lore for worgens, as weâve been lacking any development for years, over a decade now.

It seems extremely natural and expected for worgen, who are bipedal wolf characters, to have options to have a tail.
10.0 had better have some updates for us.
I donât see why some people are saying this thread isnât about furries. I mean yes itâs about the tails for worgen I get that, but thereâs no denying it the demand for tails is very high from the furry community and many furry alliance players play as worgen. Worgen even have a reference to furries in their /silly. No need to exclude them from the discussion, in my opinion. Being a furry myself whoâs favorite race in this game is worgen, I mean heck I want to BE a worgen, I like them that much. My fursona is a worgen, and I have been a worgen main since Cataclysm. While worgen girls are very pretty, I also find the males to be very attractive
Should worgen have tails? Well thatâs ultimately up to Blizzard to decide, maybe theyâll give in to the high demand. It wouldnât be the first time that has happened. I am happy with or without a tail, but I do like having variety in customization, so that in itself I can see why people want worgen to have tails. And ngl I love the tails on vulpera (my 2nd favorite playable race, who I sometimes wish was part of the Alliance)
I personally wish theyâd listen more to my feedback of lack of balance in racials for alliance in pvp. Everyone just seems to play night elf or human in pvp because their racials are so strong in that kind of content compared to the others. Some of their player-base even act elitist about it. You have no idea how many people have mocked me because they say my worgen racials are bad. I would love to see Blizzard tune the worgen racials, which I donât believe have even been touched since they were introduced in Cata, and I definitely think they need a buff so worgen players can better compete with other playerâs racials in pvp
Iâm completely cool with furries and acknowledge that they want in on the tail demand big time just as much as the non furries in here. Itâs just the weirdos that are saying itâs primarily a furry rp thing, as if itâs actually harmful to them somehow, that are being toxic about it. Itâs not just a furry thing as those people claim it to be.
I myself am not a furry or a RP player. I primarily play the game to mythic raid and do pve content, as as far as my history with worgens goes, Iâve been a worgen main myself since day 1 of Cataclysm. Literally the moment I hit Realm First 85 Death Knight, I immediately went to the shop, payed for the race change, and have mained my worgen death knights ever since. I love my worgen main, and have played this worgen for 10+ years now, and will continue doing so up until the very end.
You even have players that main humans and orcs also on here, Horde and Alliance, demanding for a tail option on worgens, especially our friends who play in the Vulpera side. The more people that join the demand for tails, the better!
Honestly with all the little hiccups here and there with the weirdos that come in and try to harass others in this thread who just want more options for our race, this thread has overall been pretty positive compared to even the bigger threads demanding for X option for Y race.
Hopefully Blizzard does go with it. I for one am in the train that they will 100% do it, itâs just a matter of when. Patch 9.3 Blizzard. Make it happen!

How do worgen not yet have the option of a tail?
Honestly, people want more customisation, it would be such a popular move.
Goldrin is called the Ancestral wolf. Ancestral Wolf. LOBO!
Walks like a wolf, howls like a wolf, is represented as a wolf in the game World Of Warcraft and has a tail with a wolf and obviously, it is a canid.
Worgen is an adaptation of the word Warg.
From the eleventh century onwards, he appeared as a âwolfâs headâ and this meaning remained in use until the middle of the fourteenth century. In late medieval literature and poetry, it referred to wild environments. In Scandinavia, in the * vargr * variant, it was a legal term widely used to designate fugitives and criminals exiled in the wild, although since the 13th century it started to designate wolves, subordinating the Nordic * ulfr * and supplanting the Swedish * ulv *. The transition, in England and Scandinavia, from its human sign to the wolf sign is unknown.
Since some of those who enter the topic donât even seem to bother to read the thread before posting something that has already been explained in other conversations, it is necessary to show that worgen is a werewolf.
And unless someone considers the classic 1956 werewolf to be more representative of what a werewolf is, then we can see that the visual concept of the appearance of a wewrewolf was getting much closer than a werewolf should be.
And a worgen, it would look better aesthetically with elements that make it more wolf that walks like a man.
Suggesting further customizations so that a fantastic unverse race has an aesthetic that should have been available since the Alpha model makes more sense than considering that the model used for 10 years was more representative of werewolf âwannabeâ than the remastered model that we have today and that shows that Worgen can be improved, when his apprenticeship is not that of an incomplete and unsatisfactory model.
Since the BfA update, I have seen a lot more worgen than I have seen in recent years. One of peopleâs reasons for not having one was the ugly appearance of the male and female models. Especially that of females.
Well, customizations are something easier to ask for with some chance of being serviced.
Review of racials, for an alliance race ???
I am skeptical that Blizzard will modify, improve or update the ones that worgen has today.
The racial of leatherworking has always seemed ridiculously redundant to me and 1% more than critical has always seemed something petty and of negligible effect and perception, but it seems to be the best that Blizzard wanted to do at the time.
I even like darkflight, although the speed and duration are small, but here in this thread we have an idea of ââbetter racials.
But would wanting more useful racials be something that would help to popularize yet another race of the alliance and improve the participation of players with an race of the alliance?
I believe so.
And it would be quick and inexpensive for Blizzard to do.
Something that would please and it would not be necessary to go through the disorder of buffs and nerfs, since it would be a complementation of purely optional appearance as it is today for orcs and blood elves.
Woof Woof!
Bark Bark!
rolls over for you pet me please owo
Tails for Worgen please of the optional variety.
Tails? For Worgen? Optional?
Yes please.
