Give Worgen Tails (Part 1)

Dark skinned elf, yes have you not seen the dark reddish tone Belves could be? it doesn’t say black. dark skinned elf is different than dark skinned human. and the fact they just didn’t exist, go into silvermoon, they just don’t

The point is worgen having a tail option doesn’t go against lore at all. Even if it did, trying to cite lore what with all the other changes is a bit of a silly hill to die on.

This is the most ridiculous thing you’ve yet said.

No reason to. We’ve even discussed the whole purple eye’d elves issue in the past too where they just added it in even thought it was a bug in the beta. No reason to argue it other than Blizzard changed their mind and decided to add in a cosmetic. No lore explanation what so ever. End of argument

canonically they’ve always been represented with out, so yes i would say it goes against it, but at same time like I said who cares at this point, customization has gone off the rails lore wise anyway, givem tails who cares.

Then don’t frame it as against lore.

What lore?

I’ll never understand why people cling so hard to lore, when what we’re asking for is a TAIL. If you don’t like it, literally don’t look at it - problem solved. It’s such a silly thing to even argue.

Looks at all the worgen concept art and other official Blizzard art that is very much to the contrary

That’s some selective vision you have there.

this type of logic opens up a big can of stupidity. whos to say ancient Egyptians didn’t ride snakes? we have no evidence of it but who cares lets just make it true. The burden of proof isn’t on me, you’re one trying to say something that has never existed exists now.

Pretty much this. Trying to bring in lore as a argument always just ends up with a toxic argument. xD Blizzard will add in whatever they want.

Just give worgens tails. Even if they don’t give a exploitation. While a explanation would be nice, we’ve seen this expansion that Blizzard has free reigns to add in whatever they want when it comes to character customization.

concept art =/= canon

hi this is a video game, not egypt

same logic, you’re arguing something that has never been shown to exist and you’re acting as if burden is on me to prove this thing never existed though it just suddenly popped up now?

Hmm…the leaks don’t say anything about your tails. Bummer folks !!

Concept art is canon as it comes from the source that determines what is canon and what isn’t. Only in your head is it not canon, if anything tail-less woren are more non-canon more than tailed worgen.

Let’s just leave it off with another quote from Ion:

And we don’t want to, you know, not do the right thing because we feel shackled to a decision that was made creatively in a different era 15 plus years ago.

The goal is the Q&A. All they did was just leak the blue post really. There is a LOT of in between like new systems or reworks to be announced tomorrow in said patches.

Plus I guarantee they will have something to say about 9.2

that’s not how concept art works. by that logic lets just take an easy example. In the lion king concept art Simba is white, so is he canonically white or yellow?

Leaks don’t determine everything and we are not deterred.

All the best. Hope you get your tails

Then what do you base it off of?

I have gone through every lead available that has been thrown at me that folk use to say Thalassians don’t have dark skin.

Only one has actually said that. It’s a non canon tabletop rpg.

You’re basing your assumptions on “I’ve never seen it so it’s not real”.

Stupidity indeed.

I’ve given you proof…

Nothing states its not a thing and an elf with dark skin exists.

That.
