I have 23 level 50’s and I intend to level ALL of them… But not until we get a skip… I tried. I got 5 through. It’s too darned long too darned much Jaina and I’m just so tired of it.
Folk want a thing. They get invested. Other folk don’t want a thing. They get annoyed others don’t agree. Fights break out. The bad parts of both sides bare their fangs.
I’ve not always agreed with folk who want tails and so far haven’t found much middle ground with the no tail crowd at all…
It’s the we want it to be optional bit that makes it hard to understand their dislike of the idea.
Like in any thread that causes divisions we could all do to step back from time to time.
as long as we get tails as a option and the upright wolf ears as an option also am a happy wolf =P, sure lore is nice to stick too, but hey so is more customization to make each other stand out from one and another
All races should have as much as humans/orcs. Including all allied races.
Also orc male is heavily inflated with the posture thing that no other race has. They still have a lot of option but it’s not that insanely inflated without posture being included for double combo.
But yeah nightborn one of my fav races lore/flavour wise are in a terrible god awful spot right now. And kind of always has been. They took away our squinty eyes the npc has and ALL the faces look OLD!?!?! Why do these immortal elves all look so damn old? Males have it way worse than females but the youngest female looks 40 still. I don’t mind that as an option but can we have some youthful/immortal faces? It looks like all PC nightborne are intended to be older than tyrande (13,000? iirc). Cuz they sure look it.
What’s funny/sucks is night elf females have a lot but they still don’t have the tattoos that the males have. Give them body tats and night elf females are perfect. Also goblin only has that many customization in jewelry. Actual substantial customization feels finite.
Pandaren female still suffer from same face syndrome.

Dark irons are bad cuz they didn’t even get eye colour. Even Zandalari got eye colour.
What is scary to me is Zandalari trolls had the highest amount of customisation and now they’re perfectly mediocre. But just look at the MASSIVE difference bewtween top and bottom. Honestly every race should be in the billion range. So Dwarf female bare minimum for all races including allied races. Though ideally all should be up with orc and night elf.
Last I checked there was a faction imbalance.
Lets give less reasons for people to go Horde, and more people to actually stay Alliance - even if they’re just cosmetics at this point.
Giving Alliance stuff they’ve actually asked for would be nice. At least we got Dark Irons and High Elves, finally. The tails would just be icing on the cake.
Also on my list is the Wildhammer getting their own racials at least… having them wrapped up in Bronzebeard dwarves is a massive disservice to their lore and story.
Was a human both on my warrior and my dk. Literally day 1 after finishing my race to realm first 85, I log out, go to the website, and payed for a race change to a worgen. I saw what they did to the female worgen alpha model, and was extremely upset with the change, but still decided to roll worgen anyways because it seemed like a really cool race either way. Flash forward 10 years later and I’m still dedicated to my worgen.
Yeah, that’s what a lot of us are hoping for. Doesn’t matter if you’re a worgen, a goblin, a blood elf or even a mechagnome. We should all have all these different customization that set us apart and give us all our own unique look, not feel like one race is favorites because it’s Ion’s main race while the rest can get one or two new options and done, which is hilarious to think about that that’s the main reason why Orcs have so many customizations options.
I got a better idea guys. Let’s make Ion race change in to all our favorite races, that way they can put all the work in towards giving us lots of customizations!
Not to get too off topic but how do you like the updated models? Aethetically I quite like it. But their movement animations running/sprinting/stealth is all kinda oof… idk don’t feel right. Least on female. I don’t play males. Their stealth looks better for what i’ve seen.
Give me pure black fur, tail options, and straight posture for males and I would be so happy
I also want at least a few earring options too! The upright ears also look really nice on them
Worgens feel so imcomplete atm especially compared to races like orcs and night elves. They really could step it up for other races that are neglected, and the ARs too of course.
That’s actually my biggest complain with the current model, it’s the movement animations, specifically the normal movement/sprinting animation, which are not two different animations anymore unlike the previous model. Now it looks like you’re always in the sprinting animation at all time reguardless of how fast or how slow you are moving around. Before, you always had your normal movement animation, but when you broke to 140% movement speed, the animation shifted to a actual sprinting animation. Long story short, movement speed is indeed weird.
Other than that I like the new models. The faces are super expressive, more expressive than some of the other faces, human even funnily enough. Some of the reworked animation are also pretty good, the hair doesn’t look like a bunch of 2d textures making you look like a porcupine. The chihuahua face, the damn chuhuahua face! I want DK eye colour and texture options. Give us red and green eyes like some other DKS are shown to have. “dead” eyes as well. And wispy effect on and off. Give em class eye colour if they can’t use their race ones. Currently the only exception being night warrior blessing/curse is stronger than the unholy magic binding death knights thus giving night elf dks ability to black eyes.
I would absolutely love for a texture option such as visible iris while still keeping the blue color and yeah, also fixed to being blue, red, and green colored, even yellow as some dks in Ebon Hold actually have yellow glowy eyes. I wish Blizzard could go back and looked at all the different iteration of the worgen dk eyes(which we’ve had 4 so far ever since the model update).
