Just a heads up guys they fixed the darn face 15/16 having a fake eye glow even when the eyes don’t have a glow… maybe they did read some of the feedback. Now all we need is an optional tail and 8 foot lore correct size. Then we can focus on males upright and other stuff that would possibly draw more players into the Worgen player base.

I was talking with Shearx, the modeler who made these custom worgen female models with tails. I recently asked of him to sate my curiosity of what it would look like if females had an ear option that sat on top of the head as well.

The results are astonishing! Inspiring me to continue the fight. It’s amazing how such little changes can make such a big impact. BEHOLD!

It will always kill me to see how much the fans can do a better job than the “professionnals”, probably because the latters don’t care about the race. (will never forget the heritage armor)

A question about the term “Furry” i saw many posts above: If i get what it means, why this word seems to have a negative connotation mostly in the US?

I don’t really see this word used often or negatively in Europe.

I… wouldn’t really say its “professional” lol. If you saw the kind of crap I had to do to get the model working, you’d probably burn me at the stake.

What would hold Blizzard back I suspect is the work needed to adjust how capes fit to accommodate a tail.

They could however hit two birds with one stone here as female worgen capes have always looked ridiculous and far too short compared with any other model.

Also they really do need to consider adding proper ‘physx’ to capes because the clipping issues are universal and often lead me to hide them on any of my characters.

Different tail types would be an excellent new option for worgen, who do lack new options. Long, short, furry and not so furry, oh and no tail for those who seem to think we’re proposing an enforced feature.

In the custom model that Wolfie has been showing off, I have already made adjustments to the cloaks to accommodate the tails. Its not perfect, but they don’t clip with it any more, which is a plus compared to previous versions.

I had the flu for a few days, I am absent and when I come back I am graced with these beautiful visions.

My God! My congratulations to the person responsible for this vision of paradise.

See how the face, eyes and even the hairstyle became more showy!
It is obvious that worgen would look much more beautiful and look more wolfish with ears like these.
Even the eyes seems more determined.

Together with a tail, correct stature, better posture and a pair of ears like these, it is evident how simple it is to make worgen reflect its greatness.

If even fans can show how much more worgen looks better with these improvements, there should be no doubt that cosmetics like this, allow a very versatile customization, much desired and necessary for worgen enthusiasts.

Pretty sure Model edits are very much against the Terms of Service and it’s likely a pretty dumb idea to be sharing them/bragging about who made them.

Only through third party mods in game… What is done on private servers or for demonstration is fine.

I seriously doubt servers used purely for private purposes are not worth the effort to shut down-- as are using mods for the same reason, especially mods which clearly aren’t designed to exploit game functionality.

Indeed content makers use private servers all the time to demo new stuff. It really isn’t an issue so long as it isn’t made for public consumption.

It’s for demonstration purposes only. Perhaps you’re ignorant to how much 3D art of WoW is on the internet and artists who take commissions of said art to make custom models/art of their own. This is no different.

Blizzard likes having visual representations of what players want as well. Gives them a good reference on how to implement them. Though thanks for the bump

It’s obvious that’s hard to do a clean work like a professional but what i see in your work is that you nailed on what the worgen community want: A more wolfish look.
