You totally came off as a role player for me! I am surprised! And Tournament of Ages is the huge yearly event that is going on right now for the RP community on Moon Guard.
I know! Really, I’m just an artist, not an RPer. That’s why I have plots for all of my toons. 
Still no new worgen customization options with the latest beta build.
SIGH Blizzard just doesn’t give a damn about us.

Or any time soon. Or in Shadowlands. Hell, I would even take the expansion after SL.

Ditto. Soon, we should not expect something like this but in the course of time, it is a more concrete possibility, since Blizzard is well occupied with the preparations of shadowlands.
Then, an ational tail made as a cosmetic for worgen, could appear near the end of shadowland or even at the beginning of the next expansion.
We just need to keep reminding Blizzard that a small detail can improve worgen’s aesthetic.
And if something so much more difficult has been done for blood elves of the alliance and Horde to have the same appearance despite all the implications, a tail that does not even have existing obstacles involving either in lore or mechanical and racial, it should be something simpler and nothing traumatic, being its use equally optional as it will be with the blood elves and it is today , with the orcs that can choose whether to use the noblest form or maintain the appearance of the classic orc peon.
Give worgen tails.

Since there were no customization updates (besides the druid form options added), i expect we’ll see a wave of stuff in the next week or two. Hopefully worgen wil get some love then!
